welcome houjou sekira.
hmmn... sekaichu. isn't that the one being compaired to ichi ritoru no namida? haven't seen it though, but they say it's quite good. i'm planning to catch this one, since i've seen ichi. if you liked saikachu, maybe you should see ichi ritoru. i liked it a lot. 1 liter of tears is an understatement. haha.

Actually, it's really my first time delving on J-Drama... so far, I've only watched two.

(1) Kimi wa Petto

(2) Sekai no Chuushin de Ai wo Sakebu

'Sekaichu' is really touching, in the sense that I felt depressed. :puppydog: Have you seen it?

We need quality education. The fact remains that the Philippines has a 92% literacy rate (forgot kung saan ko nabasa, supposed to be higher in the past, 98-99%) although not much could be said on the quality of it, when compared to our Asian neighbors.

Actually, the way I see it, there should be a change in attitude and outlook. It doesn't mean that if you're not educated, you cannot lead a productive life.

tama ka diyan, pero isa lang talaga yan sa dapat pag-tuunan ng pansin. hindi lang kasi quality education, pati values training din kailangan ng re-orientation. and i'm not talking about GMRC stuff :)

Have you taken the JLPT then ? If so, was it hard ?

i'm too idealistic. pwede niyo nako barilin sa luneta.

^ ayun! masosolusyonang anong meaning yan lol sorry this is just random. but that sounds like a deep word :beaten:

hehe yeh medjo yung 1 litre of tears is kinda draining, karamihan kasi yung mga klaseng ganong emotional series, nakaka dehydrate hehe like u said, pero i liked it, sa tingin ko its more emotional than sekaichu, maybe cuz its based on a true story

It's one of those unique "Filipinized" words. It means "to give a solution to". :bonk:

Oh, that thread... I didn't think that this thread shoulda been part of that one, since it's about a Pinoy band, not J-dramas in the Phillipines.

Guh, now what do I do? :headscratch:

Maybe I'll rename this thread to the "Filipino Entertainment Thread" or something... Suggestions?

True. Actually, the learning process of discipline and values should start off at home. The parents are the one who should be teaching this kind of things. The school will do their part, but not that major since the primary objective of school is to educate us, academically. The parents will be molding us to proper values and discipline, and the school will do the finishing touch.

Prepare alot of tissues. As the title says, you'll be pouring that amount of tears  :hehe: . But seriously, talagang nakakaiyak ito.

Actually, MixxDreamer's suggestion is good. That thread has somehow gone off-topic  . It has turned out to be an "Anything Pinoy" thread. So I guess you should just merge this one there, change the title to "Anything Pinoy" and move it here to General Discussion section :) .
