if it doesn't work... instead of downloading again, just download my subs and edit the timing with subtitle workshop... it's pretty easy to use...

as much as i like direct d/l, having those individual files might make it more difficult and extra steps to d/l each on separately, but still, Thank you for your efforts in uploading each one, much appreciated. :bow:

he just uploaded a ".SRT" file, for softsubs..that go along with the direct d/l, video file....
this is not the video file, itself, just the softsub text file only.

ahh, turns out there's some kind of trailer at the beginning. I gotta retime it. I guess i should download that program :sweat:

here's the torrent for the big one. The quality is alright but pretty decent i guess. I hope i can fix the timing without spoiling the movie

I ripped it from my DVD and I didn't edit the timing... my DVD has trailer at the beginning... hope it'll work... just rename the subs... cuz I don't know the filename of the 1,2Gb version...

thanks! I was so hoping it'd work but then it didn't =[ must be different then. Later on today ill try out the srt editing program and hopefully i can get it to work. :mrgreen:

no worries..there are at least 3 or 4 versions of Death Note floating around and yes, different softsubs aren't necessarily going to be timed to work on all avaliable versions.....it's a pain in the nuts.....

Kisarazu Cat's Eye Nihon Series is mad funny.

actually, they didnt work! I retimed it and tested it with the first 6 minutes of the film. Did you watch the movie Triky? I thought it was working at first but i skipped into the middle of the movie and it didnt match up. Maybe ill watch it later and then see how it goes. Once i watch it, i'll find out..

i'v d/l the sub edited by setiawan_arif..but it didnt match with my death note video..
mayb its because the my version didnt have trailer or whatsoever.. i'v made few correction..the first hour of the movie is okay..but the 2nd hour got lot of prob with sub timing which consume times for me to repair.. =p
but anyway..thanks to him..this sub is way soooooo much better than the hardsub in the video..
some "jokes" i found from the hardsub translation:
1: takeshi - translated as poem
2: raito/light - transalted as month
3: naomi - become beatiful or something like dat..lol..

did u try d/l the 1st subs?? it doesn't have trailer...
or maybe just like Tu_triky said, there are many version of DN floating around... I had to retime my version 3 times... cuz in the middle of the movie, it's like cut for commercial break.. so the movie fade out to black.. and then fade in again... that was the time where I had to retime...
