I rather like that logo so I just swiped it and used it as my avatar.

With regards to her hair style I think she has a different one for every drama/movie so far.

In general the Japanese likes to refer to young persons xxx-chan. I have not heard of an 'official' nickname for Ms. Ueno but she was called 'Juri-be' by the girls in "Swing Girls" (seems like all the girls have a nickname).

NB. Your favourite artiste, Tatsumi Natsuko, was nicknamed 'Tsumiko'.

I just finished watching Summer Time Machine Blues. It's great to see Ueno Juri in a different performance since I've only seen her in Swing Girls.

Can't wait to buy the STMB DVD and watch her other performances as well. Any good places to order japanese DVD? Yesasia.com? Hope it has english subtitles...
