I loved her so much in NC I wanted to try out some more of her stuff.
And seeing as I also really really love Matsuo Toshinobu I went for Warau Michael wah! (it's a movie and not dorama I know but meh)
I really enjoyed it very cute and very funny.
It was weird to start with seeing Ueno not act all crazy-like, like in NC XD but I think she did well. Now I'll have to take a look at some of her other stuff. I'm thinking about giving Swing Girls a shot

If you are looking for something fun, "Swing Girls" is your best shot. For more serious acting try "Engine" and "Tsubasa no Oreta Tenshitachi - Slot (Ep 4)".

I've been quite tempted to get Engine too, it's one of those I see everytime I wanna buy a new dorama and I think... I might have to get that next time

Juri-chan has only a small role in Engine... And I have no interest is seeing Kimutaku.

Well.........she did have a small role, but the drama was really good.

It is worth watching, even if you have no love for KimuTaku.

Yeah, that one episode toward the end when they really confronted each other was very powerful!!

same here. my heart goes all fluttery every time i see it.
since i have no interest in KimuTaku either, ep8 is the only one still left on my hard drive...

Don't you laugh!!!...it's a seriously wonderful piece of acting from both of them...Engine was the drama that convinced me KimuTaku could act!

OK, it's up to you, noblsheep...give this non-believer some screencaps of the pertinent moments when Juri is coming undone...better yet, upload episode 8 to a file-sharing service and let him see for himself what we're talking about!
