Range??? :nut: Not too shabby is all I can say, for a kiddy song it'll be OK.

Onara Taiso was different, both not my cup of tea.

Much prefer to see more of her in any kind of acting, even variety show

Yeah... range would be my question as well - she speaks surprisingly monotone.. and only when she's really pissed she goes up an octave or so.

I actually loves when she yells at Chiaki - those moments are awesome. Little Nodame's got some balls!

That's why the performance in Swing Girls was fun, much less monotonous. I don't find her to have such a flat voice if you look at her interviews or game show etc. maybe just her character.

Is Chiaki even in that shot?

Despite her profession, she appears to be rather shy and reserved in interviews and presentations: she doesn't look into the camera much, often looking to the side and fiddling with her hair...

And it just makes her even more adorable. :muack:

In the quiet submissive ones, eh?

I dunno.. I'm afraid my track record would indicate I like the spicier bitchier ones ;-) I don't know if I want bitchy... but I do want someone who enjoys standing up to me in a healty debate.

I think you're right - she does seem pretty reserved. That's why it's so satisfying to see her laugh.

Hardly.

As herself, she is pretty reserved and introspective...

But in front of a camera, she's the polar opposite. :victory:

I've heard that about a lot of comedians... like Will Ferrell - he's apparently pretty low key off screen.

Ugh.

You're really picking out Hollywood's cream o' the crop, ne? :beaten:

Are you kidding? The others were all jokes.. but Will Ferell is awesome. He plays the same character every time and manages to make something out of ridiculous roles. They aren't terribly innovative, but they're all fun and at least offer some kind of limited social commentary.

Like Adam Sandler and Chevy Chase before him, he always plays a lunkhead, a doofus, a clod, a moron.

It's tiring, it's boring, and not worth my ten bucks to see.

ahh.. $10 bucks. I remember those days. I used to have $10 ;-) But actually.. I really enjoyed Stranger than Fiction and it was a fair departure from that stereotypical Ferrellian role.

And Blades of Glory was actually a pretty decent combo with John Heder.
