Btw.. how many archery events have there been? It seems like we see them all the time - is it just from the one a couple years ago and the new one? Or do they do this a lot?

nope, just the same game show with pretty much the same games every single season. (producer says, hey we've already built the archery thing, better use it four times a year...)

Notice how the other women who were in the archery contest just sorta flailed at the target, while Juri-chan looked to be really concentrating on hitting the bullseye and her reaction afterwards?

it REALLY gets better and i even started to kinda like chiaki (i couldnt stand him at first)
i am really glad a stuck with this series...but i have to wait soooooo long for my downloads to finish i had to watch episode 3 on veoh cos the torrent took so long and now i only have the eps till episode 6 and the rest takes at least a day!!!!
well i guess i have to watch the rest on veoh again cos i really want to know what happens next (or to be more exact how cute nodame will be next :D)

@bmwracer i already started downloading waratte iitomo only 22 hours left *ggg*

That's not entirely true. Everyone certainly thinks he is - big confrontation with Mine and Nodame telling him he just can't understand them. I think he sees people who aren't working hard and gets pissed at them because he's mad they're wasting their time by his standards (this is definitely arrogant). Remember his conversation with Mine? He tells him that the only reason he is where he is is because he worked incredibly hard since he was a little kid. Chiaki does eventually learn to appreciate the help that everyone's given him, but I don't think it makes him any less arrogant :)

I'm also not sure Nodame changes him in that way... It's pretty hard not to be a little arrogant when you've been held up on such a musical pedistal as Chiaki is throughout the series. I mean he's slightly humbled by Nodame.. but his arrogance or lack thereof is really not as much a part of the drama in later episodes (if I remember it's more discussed in the anime than the drama)
