Since I've never heard the name before I was wondering, does anyone know what "Juri" means in Japanese?

Or if it's not a word, do you suppose it's the Japanese pronounciation of "Julie"?

In Kagayaku Onna, the father of the British family that Juri-chan goes to live with for a week, initially calls her "Julie." At least it sounded like it...

Hmm, that's subject to debate, I'm sure.

even better than "Back to the Future", because it leaves none of the usual time travel paradoxes...all is wrapped up nicely!

I did notice that when Eita's character was at that SciF- movie theater, there were several Back to the Future posters on display:

She also visited a cathedral in Bristol and as she toured the inside, it brought her to tears... That was really touching... I suppose she was overwhelmed by it all.

Here's that portion of the video from YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XZvWl88SKo0

Just finished watching Warau Mikaeru... I wasn't impressed at all. :puppydog:

Way, way too much CG work... Even Juri-chan couldn't save this movie, I'm afraid.

I'd better watch Swing Girls again to get the bad taste out of my mouth.

"The Great Blue Yonder" is a children's book. The story of an 11 year old boy who dies in an accident and comes back as a ghost.

I was just reading some reviews of it over at Amazon. Seems to have the Recycled Christians all in a tizzy.

Ah! A book for children about the after life that doesn't mention GOD!!! A ref to The Great Blue Yonder, instead of HEAVEN!!!

A dangerous book my friends.

It was, however, nice to watch someone seeing a Cathedral for the first time. They take my breath away every time.

Heres the latest word from ix subbers about "Turtles swim faster"...

"The month of March had been quite a productive one, and today is April 2nd. Itfs been one month, but -ix- is not ready to die just yet! While gturtleh is still hibernating at the back, new projects have been taken up. The above extract was from gKanojo to no Tadashii Asobikatag, starring Kurokawa Tomoka and Mizushima Hiro. Though we havenft claimed it yet at d-addicts yet, we will be taking it up as a project, unless someone beat us to it. (Just like Udonc)"

"‚Æ‚¢‚¤‚킯‚ŁAwefll be updating on these 2 (3 including turtles) projects this month. No guarantee they will be finished by next month, but wefll try. ƒtƒ@ƒCƒg[‚¾‚¢‚æI"

You have any interest in this video of Juri-chan's trip?

No subs, but it's eminently better than Warau Mikaeru.

I'm interested in everything.

But dang, man! The discs you sent arrived on Saturday, and I was planning on watching Warau Mikaeru after work tonight.

You've muted the buzz.

Gomen. Gomen.

Judge it for yourself: I was pretty much blown away by Nodame and you were pretty tepid towards it, so........

I just finished watching Summer Time Machine Blues and that was a good show. Very odd title, but it was a fun movie... you have to really pay attention to keep everyting in your head straight, or you'll be as confused as the characters are... :hehe:

Juri-chan's role isn't that big, but she's a welcome sight as always. ;)

I think it's worth a full review in my blog. :victory:

Ahh, I finally realized what Juri-chan was saying over and over again after that guy gave her that peck on the cheek:

Hazukashii....! (embarrassed) :victory:

Priceless. :hehe:
