Urgh, I really liked her Ruka hair in the last couple eps, but seeing it growing out and darker, PLUS her eyebrows not being overplucked is pretty awesome.

(I actually chopped my hair off to be like Ruka's hair in the SP/last episode... now that I know what it looks like grown out, I'm looking forward to it!)

anyway, doesn't juri-chan look like faye wong-san?

people have made comparisons between her and faye wong, and i must say they look pretty alike.

i uploaded a screencap from kagayaku onna on myheritage.com and according to them, she looks 96% like zhang ziyi or memoirs of a geisha fame.

Get this straight: Juri-chan doesn't look like anyone else... They more likely look like her.

Faye Wong? Never really thought of that one, I'll need to refresh my mind when it comes to Faye Wong since I haven't seen any recent images of her.
Zhang Ziyi is quite a stretch, especially at 96%, but I have no clue how that site does their calculations. I'm 100% sure though, that there is only one Ueno Juri :victory: :beaten:

I don't think there are any subs for Naoko out yet. Hopefully some fansubber will pick it up :fingerscrossed:

I've also been a fan of Zang Zi Yi before, but I must say she doesn't look like Juri or does not resemble to her at all... on Song Ye Kyo, may be I might agree or Lee Ji Ah atleast. :mrgreen:

I didn't look, but does the Naoko DVD have Japanese subs?

Those can be ripped from the DVD, which would give you a timing baseline and you could run the Japanese text through Babelfish. :beaten:

That's the problem - there are no subs, not even Japanese. It is exactly the same situation as Chirusoku no Natsu.
