Anime Dad wrote:It's not so much the cut on Juri-chan: I've never been a fan of the bob cut.
bmwracer wrote:
I've always liked the bob... But ONLY on brunettes. :victory:
Anime Dad wrote:That's a bit specific :headscratch:
But I couldn't imagine Nodame any other way: And I haven't seen the anime nor read the manga.

Actually, have you ever seen anyone but a brunette with a bob?
It looks weird.

Just to add about Juri-chan's dedication to her acting, one of the hallmarks of her skills is her ability to make you accept her new role without any legacy. Take Noda Megumi. That role is so iconic that it would kill the careers of many actors. Yet when you watch Rainbow Song, Tsubasa, Naoko, or Last Friends you don't think about Nodame at all. Rainbow Song and Tsubasa especially because her look in these were similar to Nodame. You almost think it was another actress. Compare this to many of the actors considered the "best" or "most popular" in Japan, but really only play the same role in every drama and movie they do. Huge difference and you see why Juri-chan is so good at what she does.

Then again, the only thing that would look good on her is a potato sack. Over her head :hehe:
