Well I remembered, though I don't know why or how, it's not like I liked the song. And I'm only like 6 months older than Juri, so we were both in elementary school when the song came out. :victory:

Heheh.. maybe because it's the first time she's won anything at the Hasida Awards. After 16 years of giving them to the same four people, they decided it was time for a newcomer :)

Whoa, seriously? I vaguely remember going through the ugly celeb thread last year and thinking it was just a bunch of people with victim complexes. Juri looks different from usual Asian celebs, but she's far from ugly...

You mentioned the mods and I think that's what it really comes down to. It appears the mods there aren't doing a great job, depending on one's view. I'd be surprised that a thread like that exists, considering how heated arguements can get between the fanboys and girls, but since I haven't been to the D-Addicts forums in months I really don't care. I'm usually here for my J-Drama and Juri-chan fix anyways :mrgreen:

If the mods there are allowing that thread to go on, then at that point I probably wouldn't bother anymore. Then again, I haven't bothered with the D-Addicts forums in months. My experience posting about Last Friends was enough for me :beaten: Sure, it's meant in good fun, but my problem is that fans of particular celebrities may start getting defensive and may start a flame war that sends the thread down the drain. Looks like that thread hasn't quite gone there yet, but the potential is there. Not much that can be done but just let them be. We always have J-Dorama to come to :victory:

Still to the people who put Juri-chan on the list, if you think she's ugly, you must have a lot of cracked mirrors around the house!
