These fashion shots can be so strange sometimes - it seems like they have nothing to do with the person they feature.

I've noticed that Juri's one of those personalities I see in a very certain way: when they dress her up to make her all different, my concept of her identity is lost and she feels like a stranger.

Actually, it's not really a fashion shot: it's the clothes she wore during her trip to Maui...

Granted, they could be the clothes the studio/company provided... And I think she does have a choice of what to wear. :)

Agreed. What I was realizing was how much her visual personality affects her identity in my mind. I just hadn't thought about it that way before. It's like so many other things: we have a very specific idea of what "Mac & Cheese" tastes like or what a certain song sounds like and we don't necessarily connect as many memories with the modified version.

I thought about who my first girlfriend is now - I don't connect that person at all with the girl I dated 12-13 years ago. It's like that person disappeared and a new person appeared in her place. And not just because she changed - I really find her objectively more interesting and attractive now.

I'm sorry I hadn't articulated it as a philosophical argument than the acute one you recognized. I should be better at making my arguments, even on a casual forum :mrgreen:
