Oh.

She seemed awfully disappointed, though. :(

Just read this at Kawaii Joyuu ( http://www.kawaii-joyuu.com/?p=1311 ):

Oh Nagasawa Masami, whatfs going lately? "The Last Princess", while successful fell short of Tohofs expectations of 1 billion yen in box-office takings, the total opposite to Miyazaki Aoifs "Atsuhime" that surpassed all expectations. "Last Friends" had good ratings, but the majority saw a clearly dominating Ueno Juri, dominating in both popularity and acting. Her newest dorama "Boku no Imoto" even ended with an average rating below 10% and that despite the desperate promotions before it went on airc

Yay Juri-chan!!! :woot: :dancing: :victory: :applaud:

Oh I've seen that earlier. And yes. I agree on that statement. I guess everybody who've seen LF agreed on that too. There's no doubt in Juri-chan's stunning performance. Even some were surprised when they were told that Masami-chan is the lead, not Juri.

About Masami's low ratings and gross incomes in her drama and movie, I don't think the blame is all on her. When I saw the trailer of her new movie, I don't feel like watchin it already. The story eww

Maybe.

For one thing, that movie was a remake of a classic... And maybe it tanked because Matsujun was in it... :beaten:

Maybe the ratings on Last Princess and Boku no Imoto werenLt the best but that happens to all actors sometime. AinLt her fault. And low ratings donLt necessaryly mean a movie or drama is bad nor do they mean she is a worse actress. Making fun about MasamiLs current low ratings and misfortune like that is totally lame.

Dun worry. I think she will strive back. After all, she still has a great fan base in Japan. :)
