fate-ss26 wrote:^ Too playful she caught me off guard with that high five thing
fate-ss26 wrote:I agree with everything. Unlike most celebs, Juri-chan's all about being comfortable in her own skin and being herself, instead of trying to please the others. Her choices of clothing and dresses pretty much reflect it. Also, she has quite a mix of personalities in her which -amazingly- are all genuine (at least as far as I can tell). She can be quiet, reserved and shy, or she can be loud, bubbly and bold, but one thing for sure, she's never a fake, which is why I love her personality so much

And this is for the main short movie, I haven't downloaded this one yet, but if the Making has subtitles than this one should be the same.

What you wanna find? The sub or streaming links? I can just point you the direction.
kokoandkiko wrote:OMG that would be so awesome! I watched ao akua on megaupload without subs...and i downloaded earth odessey but with no subs...it'd be great if you could provide the links to watch these with subs! Thanks!!

Before she cooked, she said something along "Clearly, I can't cook and I still have to cook for 10 people..." lol Well, although it's not her specialty, she clearly can. And yea, I'm also impressed, I also felt inspired when I saw that.
I hated cooking myself and this was what I always -arrogantly- told my Mom who often nagged me to learn cooking, "I can make money and I'm good at why I do, but cooking is not part of it so please don't bother..." When I looked back, I'm so ashamed now. It actually took someone younger than me to change me for the better. Although I'm still learning, I can cook now (Mom was very surprised and delighted lol)...all thanks to Juri-chan. I was so stubborn, without her, I wouldn't have seen the light :shamefulcry:
As for why she cried, it's been a while since I watched it but if I recall correctly, she was moved by the Oba-san's kindness, like preparing special dishes for her and giving her some kind of plant she grew herself. She said that the food was already more than enough, so for the Oba-san to go as far as giving her the plant (there were probably more though), apparently moved her to tears. Juri-chan's a very appreciative and sensitive girl, isn't she? :)

You can read Chinese?

I kinda felt ashamed myself that I can't cook that well after seeing Juri-chan cook. I mean I'm rising sophomore in college and will have to start cooking this fall! I'm somewhat inspired by her to cook too! I mean if someone with such a busy schedule could do it, I could too! Lol!
By I've noticed that Juri-chan acts differently on shows when she promotes different dramas...Maybe its because she's so into her roles..I really wonder which side is the genuine Juri-chan..I see her more as Nodame! hahaaa
kokoandkiko wrote:yep! Well, I'm Chinese...moved to the states (from HK) when I was 7...got really into Canto-pop and learned to read chinese by following the lyrics. And I watched TVB dramas...but that phase is over...I'm really into the mainstream hip hop, r&b..and i recently got into Utada Hikaru due to her english album...then I started watching J-dramas which is how I discovered Juri-chan (from Last Friends since Utada sang the theme song)..
I've officially entered into the japanese phase! lol

I'd love for her to study English as well. I have high hopes for her, she's the only J-actress that I believe can break the international barrier if given the right direction :fingerscrossed:
