Unfortunately, there's probably no way to recover the messages sent while the move was underway. Ruroshin made the announcement in the Suggestions forum. But it takes a good day or two for the changes to make it around the world.

hey everyone! im popped here becos i have finished 2 papers!! and im giving myself a break. hopefully i wont get :beatyou: by any of you. haha. Grapefruit.. i din expect takuya to let anyone have any photos of his daughters.. haha. i thought he was that protective of them.. but anywae.. im happy he didnt =) his dotters look so cute! just like him. but do you think you are able to enlarge the photos?? costhey seem so small and tiny.. but if it's reallie too much trouble then.. it's alright. rainbowtrails. haha. it's okay girl. i also only knew that like after i went around looking for his info when pride started out.. so yupp. he is married with 2 kids as maybe_71 had said.. quite cool.. haha. i din expect him to get married so young.. though he's actually not very young and i dont know why im contradicting myself. hmm.

dashx!! drama marathon!!!! haha. hopefully we can reallie organise it. but i sort of doubt it.. sigh. after exams..

Hi Ashley ... it's been more than a week since I visited and it seems there are several backpages to deal with ... and more fans supporting TK and his dramas. I particularly like Beautiful Life & Pride. I have seen Long Vacation but it didn't catch much of my attention. I love romance dramas, even heavy ones, that's why I enjoyed BL a lot ... & of course Pride where he had light scenes bringing out that hidden part of TK. Maybe I have to see Long Vacation again ... btw, is Good Luck a romantic drama? how is the chemistry betweem TK & his leading lady?

Hi Maribelle....Good Luck is more a motivational one...I like Takuya with Kou Shibasaki though....The interactions between the both of them are really cute....
The first time I watched Long Vacation, I much preferred Love Generation.....but as I grew older, Long Vacation was definitely a more inspiring one, Senna's dream to become a pianist was only realized when he found the one he wanted to play for...
One of my favourite parts in the show was when Minami and Senna was talking about the "vacation" given by kamisama when you don't have to work doubly hard because eventually things will get better....u like heavy dramas? me too.....I guess LV can be a little mellow in some parts....I love Sora Kara....but I refrain from watching it too much, I get very sad after watching it....it's disturbing, to say the least...

Some info about Bushi no Ichibun...I'm really curious as to who will be the actress playing the wife of Takuya...(and raei...I can't find the lyrics to Ha..gomen)

Takuya will be starring in a new Japanese movie "Bushi no Ichibun". The director is Yamada Yoji who directed Twilight Samurai and The Hidden Blade.

The story is about a Bushi who is a "poison tester" and he went blind because of the poison and lost his job. Because of poverty, the wife went to look for help but was raped. So Takuya, the bushi was determined to seek revenge for his wife.

The main acress (the wife) has not been decided yet.

The shooting of the movie will start in December and the movie is scheduled to be completed in February 2006 and released in Autum 2006. There are plans to have the movie screened in Venice and three other international movie festivals.

The director, Yamada, said about his meeting with Takuya: he has not been so excited upon meeting an actor since meeting Takakura Ken (‚‘qŒ’ who also acted in one of Yamada's movie). He also said that the minute he saw Takuya, he decided that Takuya is the "main character material".

Thanks Ashley for this update ... it's good to hear that TK is exposed to a different genre , that way he can prove his versatility & not typecast to a particular role. The plot of his upcoming movie is interesting ... but like many of us here, I would like to see him in another drama with a pretty leading lady. I'm an incurable & hopeless romantic & so I crave for something that will make me want to watch a drama over & over ... & extend a little of my imagination in a sequel that is simply a product of my wishes.... am I funny? :nut:

I thought shooting of Bushi No Ichibun started already, thus keeping TK very busy not to mention his other commitments with SMAP. Also, I'm curious if this is a period film ... btw do samurais still exist these days in Japan?

Can I ask anyone a favor ... is it possible to post the link of the SMAP episode where they had CHOI JI WOO, the Korean actress as guest. Pleeeease :crazy:

Sorry a little out of topic... but Shingo-chan is now in Australia filming the "Xiyouji"-- is the english title Journey to the West..... which is next season's monday night 9pm show for Fuji Terebi...Seems like the SMAP members are into period dorama/movies in 2006 huh?

Guys do like Takuya. My nephew like Takuya Kimura. He had watched most of his dramas and he asked me to make a copy of some of his drama so that he can rewatch. He is also a SMAP fan!! And i was joking that we can go for SMAP concert next year!! :blahblah:

I have the DVDs for TK older doramas. Hero, Beautiful Life, Ordinary People, Love Generation, Long Vacation, and the recent ones like Pride, engine, and Good Luck. I could copy it for anybody who wants it, but I'm in Europe, I don't know how to get it to you.

Ordinary people is actually another name for Asunaro Hakusho....a really really long ago drama....I think I never watched that drama...cos Takuya is more of a supporting role.....
Maribelle..hihi....I think we all want Takuya to be in a love story...except the emphasis on his last few dramas isn't really about love..I mean there are romantic elements but if he ever acts again in a love story, I only hope they choose the female lead properly....and Bushi no Ichibun is indeed a period piece..that director directed Matsu Takako before...(now that's who I wanna see in that movie opp Takuya)
