I agree with ainangst re Shibasaki Kou. They don't look good together. There was no "awww..." feeling at the end of the show. I think Matsu Takako and Takeuchi Yuko are the best for him.
My fav all time Kimutaku dorama is Love Generation. I cried buckets :shamefulcry: when Katagiri Teppei arrived late and missed Riko at the signboard.

Yeah Kou & Taku look like buddies or siblings rather than a cute couple kan? I think my bad opinion on LG mainly becoz the bad quality of the vid( it is so dark ), but I still think the storyline is typical & the theme song is irritating :bleh: Or maybe, i didn't watch it during my PMS (I'll b xtra sensitive :puppydog: ) :bonk:

In Vol 3, I don't know which series Kimura was referring to. I would appreciate if a Chinese reader could come and help me decipher it. Kimura said it has to do with a World War II background and I am too new a fan to know everything.

Here's an intro abt Kimura's new drama Engine
Arishima Jiro (Takuya) is an F3000 team test driver who can gauge the very limit of the machine he is driving. Known for his daredevil driving, he gets into trouble with his team and his contract gets severed. Returning to Japan for the first time in 3 years, he goes to where his father and elder sister are running a home for children who cannot be cared for by their parents.
There he meets a qualified child carer Hanae, who had entered the profession with high ideals. Worn down with reality, she still tries to do her job well. She sees racing car driving as a silly job.
Jiro also meets 12 children from various backgrounds, each with hopes and fears for the future.
The drama will start on 18th April, and is expected to go on until 27th June

On What's Up this night Takuya talked about the two Johnny's Junior boys appearing in Engine. They are Arioka and Nakajima but Takuya confessed that he had not known their names till now (this was recorded on 6th April), as he thought of them by their role names: Toru and Shuhei.
The two boys had come up to him very formally the first day they met, and Takuya had immediately asked them to forget their being senior and juniors of the same management office. They were to call him "Jiro" like all the members of the cast (without even the honorific suffix "-san"), and were not to stand on formality.
What with so many children and toys on the set, they tend to play games and such during shoots, but apparently Takuya put his foot down one day, saying "If you play with things, you put them away." The children had been heard to mutter "Jiro's fierce," as they tidied away the toys.

i think kimura takuya has matured so much over the years... despite fears that his popularity wld take a dip when he got married and have kids, i think responsibility made him more manly and sexy (personal opinion.. probably coz i'm biased too).. haha.. there's this charisma abt him that juz make me go crazy over him.. : :hehe: and i personally find the way he interact with the kids on the set very heart warming... everyone seems to want to play with jiro.. i think he's a strict and caring dad.. but well... biased personal opinion of mine again..
