@ RkoCenaHolic23 - Your L icon REALLY amuses me it's fantastic !!! XDDDDD I could sit and watch it for ages :hehe:
@ TaintedWisdom - About the stuff in your spoiler box... I totally agree Spoiler — click to reveal Near and Mello could never live up to L and whilst Mello was bearable I really didn't like Near... it was like he was L... but not as cool, just a not so good replica :bleh:
Oh and I think the whole eraser idea sounds really cool ^_^
I love Death Note. It has such an intriguing story and very unique characters. My favorite character is L, and Kenichi Matsuyama did a fantastic job bringing the character to life on screen. ^^
Sadly, I'm the only fangirl of the live-action films -- well, the series really -- in my family. *lol*
Sorry to fans of Light, but I absolutely hate the character. ^^;;

Don't worry!!! We have a club here! Basically it's for people who LOVE L and hate Light!!! So whoo you are more than welcome :hehe: :victory:
The movie was bad in my opinion since I'm a avid follower of the manga. There's just some mangas that shouldn't be made into live action, and this one is one of them.
No offense meant to those who enjoyed the movie. I was just putting in my couple of senseless cents.

Don't worry you not alone in that statement.
I read the manga and watched the anime, and there is no way the movie even gets close to conveying what Death note is truly about. While is not a bad movie at all, is not captivating like the manga or even the anime.
On the plus side, the company made crap loads of money out of it through merchandise for the movie hahaha.
Note: Raito should have been played by someone else in my opinion. While L's character is pretty darn identical, Raito is just sooooo not similar.

That sounds great! More members. How about you be the "muscle" of our group. When we need a bodyguard or when L makes appearances, you can walk around with your strap? Do you want that job? :mrgreen:
:hehe: I'd love to do that! But....ermm... don't have that much muscles... i just do 20-30 push ups a day...:naughty: so can't see the effect yet.. :rofl: but I can do that-- I mean, protect L all the way! :mrgreen: I'll make sure not one single mosquito can touch him. :twisted:
scrappedshinigami i just read your post about my L ava... :hehe: I LOVE that ava too... unfortunately, I just changed my ava this morning... :bonk: but its just for the meantime, until my HARRY POTTER hang over eventually wears out... :rofl: im still kinda hung up with the movie and the book (although i didn't like the movie that much... :grumble: ) I'll change my ava back to L after a few weeks I guess... coz that ava ROCKS... :metaldevil:

Just my 2 cents as well heheh :mrgreen:
The way Death Note grabs your attention and doesn't let go is the mark of a truly great manga. When I first got into it I read it whenever I got the chance.
