on HP: as a fan (esp. of the 5th book) I found it, as I've always said, "not disappointing BUT not satisfying either.." :shakehead: IT's the the 5th movie, there's still the 6th and 7th... :victory:

I hope to get a chance to read the DN manga... I already know a couple of sites with scanlations but what I don't have is the 'time'... :sweat: kinda busy with school work and all those stuff...

But don't like the Light in the movie.. cause the actor is more handsome than me :bonk:

i like MisaMisa (Erika Toda), Sayu Yagami (Hikari Mitsushima) and Kiyomi Takada (Nana Katase) in the movie :naughty:

The anime made him look like a tragic hero (the only end I haven't seen is the anime end) so if that is true I can understand why he might be a bit more likable and it might be sad... but I thought he was absolutely despicable in the movie and the manga... he got his bwha ha *I'm so not evil* :sweat:

Isn't that sort of the point? To make viewers hate Light because he's just plain evil?

he is just too "IN" his Justice and blind by the power of the death note. after all, the first reason he wanted to use the death note was to "clean" the world, get rid of the bad guys. But of course i don't support "his murdering" because it's wrong too... Then he was too carried off in his challenge with L.. and begin killing innocent in order not to be caught..

if i was in Light shoes.. i think i will also do the same :bonk: it's so hard to find a person that is the "same" as you, think the "same" as you.. and you will do your best to compete against him/her.
L also say before, Light is his "best friend"
as there's a saying : the person who know you best is your greatest enemy
