alanmh wrote:Hi everyone, nice forum! I'm relatively new to j-drama but I absolutely love this series! The first j-drama I saw was Densha Otoko and it was great. I first heard about Nodame Cantabile through the anime adaptation and fell in love with the characters/story/music. Now I'm reading the manga to see what happens where the live-action/anime leaves off. I was a bit skeptical about the live-action as I was slightly disappointed by the live-action adaptation of Lovely Complex, but after watching the fiirst two episodes of this j-drama, I was hooked. Ueno Juri is so cute as Nodame, my only critique is that she's almost too pretty (I always imagined her being slightly more plain and girl-next-door-ish the way she seems in the manga/anime). But I digress.

LOL, I think Juri-chan fits the girl-next-door persona to a tee... :D

My question is, does anyone know where I might find direct downloads of the RAWs for episodes 3-11? I only ask because my firewall reduces my torrent download speed to miserably slow so it takes me weeks to download large files on bittorrent. I already have the soft subs so I just need the RAWs. Any help is greatly appreciated. :)

Hmm, I think others have asked this question and I can't remember anyone pointing out any Sendspace or Mediafire links for Nodame...

But I could be mistaken.

Regardless, welcome the the forum, Nodame fan! :victory:

Tue, July 10, 2007 (4:17pm EDT)

The popular "Nodame Cantabile" drama series is returning to Fuji TV next January. A two-night special will kick off the new year, taking place in Paris after the timeline of the original series. Juri Ueno and Hiroshi Tamaki will reprise their roles as Nodame and Chiaki, respectively.

The special will also include new characters that do not appear in Tomoko Ninomiya's manga.

Filming will take place overseas for a period of about three weeks this fall.

It has also been announced that the Nodame Orchestra will hold Christmas concerts from December 18 to 28 at the Le Theatre Ginza.

Okay, this is my take in translating the news article. If there's any mistake, please point it out^^

Nodame Returns as New Yearfs FujiTV Special! For 2 Nights In a Row

translated by Yanie

The high expected special episode of Nodame Cantabile! Will Nodame and Chiakifs love blooms in Paris?

Nodame Cantabile, that has increased classic fans rapidly, the FujiTV gekku dorama broadcasted last yearfs October, will return as a special dorama, and it was announced yesterday, July 10th. This is to answer the fans messages of expectation for a sequel, that had been coming since the show was over last year. Takes place on the flower capital city, Paris, and it will broadcast on New Year, for two nights.

Not only the fans got excited about this, but Ueno, who acts Noda Megumi, also comments, gTaking place in Paris, this is will be another different Nodame World from the previous one. I will do my best and enjoy myself in acting the character once again,h.

According to Fuji, it was the fans voice that makes this special episode happen. There were lots of sequel and reruns expectation messages came in the official website since the show was over last year, and recently, the number has reached about 10,000 messages.

The special episodes continues the story after the seriesf ending, where Nodame and Chiaki were going to study abroad. The characters in the original comic by Ninomiya Tomoko, like Nodamefs apartment roommate, the Russian and the French characters, are planned to also appear in the dorama.

gEven in France, Nodame-Chiaki is still the dynamic duo combi. Even with the production that will be done abroad, and the foreigners, the set, and the language hindrance, it will be the same hillarious and heart-warming Nodame World with a Power-Up scale!h Wakamatsu Hiroki, the producer promised.

Tamaki, who acts the popular character called as gChiaki-samah by the female fans recently comments, gTo know that Nodame Cantabile returns, me myself, had been feeling excited about it. Seems that this time, there would be lots of music, French language, French life etc, but Ifll do this and reach each hurdle, bringing Chiaki Shinichi spirit with me,h.

The filming will start this fall, the location is the center of Paris and its planned to be done in 3 weeks.
