They've only completed one episode, though.

I just noticed another problem with their subs: when I watch it on my TV set, the subs are slightly cut off at both ends for soem of the text... I think the hardsubbers didn't account for the overscan that's inherent in most TVs.

soka... so its not recommended to burn and watch it in tv?.. in fact im planning to burn this to play it in my DVD player.. but like you said.. the subs had problems.. now im having a second thought.. its really for PC viewing only?

Try it out yourself and see how it looks: the amount of overscan on a TV varies... I used a DVD+RW as a test, so I don't waste a disc. :)

i've just finished watching Nodame Cantabile a few days ago... Hoho.. though it was really amazing... i dont know why i didn't bought the dvd earlier... Nodame is on my 'gonna buy it' list since 3 month ago, but i ended up buying a lot of anime and kdrama instead... huhuhu...(maybe i'm that kind of person who have no interest in classical music).. but after watching nodame... Yup!!!! i can tell you, i love all the inserted song, the OST, all the classical music in the drama.... (never thought of it before... hehe...)
and now i recommended to all my floormates here at my hostel to watch...

for sure... feel so 'move'... chiaki-senpai, nodame-chan, .. yup, perfect couple (although they're totally different in personality)...

Before this, Attention Please was on my top list jdrama chart... but now, of course laa Nodame.. hehe... the best among the best of the best jdrama ever in the history... most hilarious, most 'feelirious', most attractive couple.. EVER!!
I'm Fall in LOVE!!

-> minna.... hopefully there's nodame cantabile 2.... huhu,... can't wait for the SP this fall....

Glad you liked it. A 2-episode SP will be air in January 2008, although there is no news on a second season.

i've been wondering... why some of them called chiaki-kun, or chiaki-sama...

and why there's no chiaki-san... and there's nodame-chan...
what's the different between these -san, -chan, -sama, and -kun???

:'( sorry for my 'what kind of a question is that?'... huhu...

Finally got some response to my comments regarding the SARS fansub and it was basically "it looks okay on our PCs/TVs" and "this is the way we've always done it..."

Oh well.

amrayu is a really nice person and I don't wanna butt heads with her on this topic...

That said, I'll keep working on my subtitles.... :victory:

Woah. Miruhi sure looks different without the costume. He suddenly seemed like an old hermit from some mountain

Nodame's having fun. :)

I don't know why Tamaki Hiroshi is cracking up while Mizukawa Asami is in tears thanking everyone, but that seems to be typical... :headscratch:

LOL! In the picture it looks like he's making fun of her and she's broken down to tears because of his cruel taunts.

Mebbe she said something really funny while crying as one does during an emotional speech?
