Just 5 CDs of music features in the drama and anime. The selling point of this collection is that the music were performed by the Nodame Orchestra and the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra - as we hear them in the drama and anime.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll fix it and post a link later on.

Thank you for verifying the problem... I thought it was me.
This web page is an interview of Ninomiya Tomoko by Kiss Comic. The first photo on the right is the photo which inspired Nodame Cantabile - the real Noda Megumi playing the piano in a very messy room.
In the drama both Nodame and Chiaki had a baby grand piano in their rooms - I thought it was just because Yamaha was sponsoring the show. Apparently the real Noda Megumi also managed to fit a baby grand into her room...

'Cantabile,' 'Suspect' earn three Seoul nods
By Mark Russell

SEOUL -- Japanese miniseries "Nodame Cantabile" was the big winner Tuesday night at the second annual Seoul Drama Awards, picking up three awards, including nods for best miniseries, director and music director.
Also earning three awards was the U.K.'s "Prime Suspect 7," which took kudos for best short series and screenplay along with a nod for lead actress Helen Mirren.
China's "Great Revival" won best drama series and best cinematography for Shi Luan.
Other winners saw Japan's Kimura Takuya take best actor for his work on "The Family" and Korea's Lee Cheol-ho earn the art director nod for "Hwang Jin-yi." Best juvenile series went to Australia's "Mortified."
The Seoul Drama Awards are the only international television awards in Asia and, despite their youth, have attracted much attention from television broadcasters and producers around the region.
Created by Group 8 and hosted by the Korean Broadcasters Assn., the SDA are designed to honor outstanding achievements in television drama production from around the world.
Group 8 also is the main organizer behind the BCWW television conference and trade market, one of the biggest in Asia, which runs Wednesday-Friday in Seoul.

I liked the 'actual' performance and the variations, such as Nodame's impressive (at Etou's house) Chopin Etude and the messy (at the Maradona) version; Chiaki's final (Christmas) performance of Beethoven's 7th with the 1st movement merged into the last, just as it was in the drama.

Yeah, I noticed that as well when I sampled some of the tracks: they seem to be truly from the soundtrack, less the dialog. :)
I guess the dialog-only CDs will show up later this year, ne?
FujiTV's really tapping the money out of the hard-core fans like yourself...
