They're available from S-Projects... Though you might have to register to get 'em.

The subs also need spell checking. :bleh:

LOL, my niece got her hair cut Nodame-style...

Wish I had a pic... :beaten:

That's cool I literally registered at S-Projects 2 weeks ago O_O I left a few comments on the Karei-Naru and Nodame boards and that was it. I have incentive to go back now ^_^

:hehe: Now that I'm in Santa Rosa again, I've got a copy of Nodame for my friend...speading the word. I'm Beem's first missionary for Ueno Juri and Nodame Cantabile.

zhirong wrote:The SP was great. A total of 4 hours (without commercials)! Finished it a few days ago and it is still lingering in my head. There's seldom a drama SP that made me laugh and cry at the same time which this one did.

This one should not be a spoiler but I will add a spoiler tag just in case.
Spoiler — click to revealI'm surprised that Saeko never appear in this SP. I miss her and her contrabass.

I don't think it really is a spoiler, 'cause she's not part of the main plot...

Actually, none of the S-oke members are really part of the main plot: it's all about Nodame and Chiaki's adventures in Europe. :)

I believe Saeko's disappearance was due to her being pregnant...? I'm not exactly sure though...

The SP has been amazing. It leaves it open for more future SPs too...which is purely wishful thinking but it would be awesome :)

It would be great...

But typecasting might be a problem....

I also enjoyed how becky played her role as Tania, especially liking that line about...

Spoiler — click to revealhow she now understands why japan is so strong economically XD, got me to laugh so badly even ive read it once in the manga.

the french really makes me miss french. i learnt french before but dropped it. now i feel like picking it up again...

Honestly the only person in danger of that is Ueno Juri herself. Everyone else has had so much experience and roles in their careers, and she hasn't had too much success outside of Nodame (sorry, Jodan Janai! crashed and burned hard, and it looked sooo good!).

I think the best way to go about this is get her into a few more series before having another SP (maybe 2-3 years down the road).

You forgot about Swing Girls. ;)

And I think Tsubasa no Oreta Tenshitachi was pretty well received.

But yeah, Jodan ja Nai! was disappointing.

Japanese would be a better choice. :)

Stand corrected, though I haven't seen it I can't really agree (but hey, you're the resident Ueno fan, so who am I to disagree? :beaten: )

You need to rectify that. :victory:

S-Projects now has the final release of the softsubs for SP Lesson 1...! :woot:

yay! i've finally watched it yesterday without subs and i can't even understand japanese. i just managed because i've already read the manga up to vol. 18.

just like what bmwracer posted earlier, i'm quite disappointed with the dubbing part also. however, it does make sense since it'll be quite a sight watching one speak in french and the other in japanese and wonder if they do understand each other.

Spoiler — click to reveali'm glad there's finally a kiss scene but sad that there's only one. there should have been another one (like in the manga). the first lesson was good but i felt like the 2nd lesson was kinda rushed. i wanted nodame to play the entire recital but she played only 3 pieces.

still, nodame-chan is so kawaii!!! and chiaki-kun should always smile. aaahhh!!! he's also so kawaii when he smiles. and i think kuroki looks even cuter in the SP. :nut:

i'm glad the final subs for lesson 1 is already out. i'll rewatch it again.
