I watched the SP this weekend and it was amazing and wonderful! I plan on watching it a few more times to realy soak it in. Aww...*sigh* It was great! The music selections were AMAZING! I really wanted to hear the Lalo and the Dvorak though. But I can't complain--because...it was all so perfect!!! The boy reminds me so much of one of the piano students at my college. And I've officially decided to make the repertoire performed in Nodame my own--so in two weeks, I get to perform the Mozart duo that appeared in episode one!! (Of course, my duo partner is all--ehhh??? Why this piece? because it isn't really easy--  actually, it's pretty difficult, and even my studio professor was shocked I chose it.) But I don't care. I have the first third of it memorised and have been practising it obsessively.

I missed this forum so much.

Maybe you should introduce the drama to your professor and fellow students... :)

I don't think Lalo's Symphonie espagnole is on either of the 2 discs though (I'm only going by what's listed on yesasia and cdjapan). If it's indeed not and anyone wants it, I can make a rip and upload it to megaupload.

You're right, it's not. A 2-minute excerpt of this piece can be found on disc 3 of Nodame Cantabile Mongoose Box:

S-Projects was surprisingly quick with the release of the subs for Lesson 1... Lesson 2 might show up later in the week.

I'll tell you this: fansubbers are a sensitive bunch: I made a comment on the D-Addicts site about having to spell check the subtitles and they got their noses all bent out of shape...

So much for constructive criticism.

So much love for this drama. The original series, and the special. Hands down one of my very favourite Japanese drama's of all time.
