First, he played Rossini's William Tell Overture, then Dvorak's Symphony #9 in E minor Op.95 - 4th movement (competing with Chiaki), then Strauss' Till Eulenspiegel's Merry Pranks... From what I recall. :beaten:

Also known as The Long Ranger Theme... Eek, I'm dating myself.

Oddly, that wasn't included in the OST. :headscratch:

So I usually am not much one for watching fanmade videos from the dramas, but this Nodame one is too good http://youtube.com/watch?v=0pu_4X_FT1M
:puppydog:

I was up so late last night finishing the final ep of SP, but it was worth it. The second one was better than the first. It was more emotional and I was laughing more as well

Ehh... I didn't find the music all that compelling... It would've been better using one of the classical pieces from the drama, like the opening or closing pieces. :)

Yeah, Lesson 2 was definitely more emotional, but both lessons were equally good... And like the series, the musical pieces that were chosen were absolutely perfect... Just terrific.

Wow i just finished watching the special. And I cried on the second episode. It was weird because I would cry and then something happend and I would bust out laughing. I love this show.

Spoiler — click to revealWhen Chiaki was held captive and was forced to sign the papers the music in the background is called Carmina Barerra right. I know i might be spelling it wrong. But can someone tell me who did the song originally

Nodame Cantabile

Synopsis

Megumi Noda, or "Nodame," is a piano student at Momogaoka College of Music. Although she is an extremely talented pianist who can play by ear, she can't read music. She also hates to take a bath or clean her room. For her daily meals, she usually grabs something out of her friend's lunchbox.

Nodame soon falls in love with Momogaoka's top student, Shinichi Chiaki. Born into a musical family, he plays the piano and violin brilliantly. Although his major is piano, he has secret ambitions to become a conductor.

Based on the big hit comic book by Tomoko Ninomiya, this is the romantic comedy of two completely different personalities. -- Fuji-TV
