Well, as long as she does not copy other Nodame habits

I did give her a Nodame piano bag for Christmas...

That's just so cute. I've been meaning to get one of those tote bags just to parade around with it at the academy, hee hee. I actually found another nodame fan at school--funny enough, he's a jazz major and is interested in Sophia U's jazz studies.

Hehe...that one is so cute!
But if she is really that much into it, take care that she does not become a messy too :hehe:

Not at all... She's quite organized, actually. :victory:

I did try to convince her to dress up as a mongoose for Halloween, but making the costume would've been way too difficult. :beaten:

I love the mongoose :woot: But yeah, the costume seems to be really difficult to make

All you need is some old stuffed animals and a stapler....what's hard about that?

Not cutting my hands off while trying to get it all together
I got 2 left hands, so to say... And you need the old animals in one color don't you?

@bmwracer:  Exactly...and these are all very important things as Chiaki will learn ...all very important things, no trash - in Nodames POV of course :hehe:

Use shoe polish to match the colors.

i love re-watching nodame...there are so many subtle special effects that you can discover upon re-watching :victory:

Spoiler — click to reveal the scene where chiaki was being his perfectionist self and was forcing tanya to play the polonaise perfectly is one such example. you can practically see tanya's face screwed up in concentration, her messy hair an indication of the fast speed of the song which her fingers are clearly not adept at. and her expression is exactly that of a not-so-capable music student trying her best to play at breakneck speed under the eagle eyes of her devil :finger_devil: teacher aka chiaki :hehe: plus the towel that chiaki used while jogging...initially it was wrapped around his neck while he watched her play for the first time and after that, it's tied around his forehead in that classic japanese ganbatte style :hehe:

That's definitely true. The entire series is just a masterwork. Lighting, scene changing, ...it's so wonderful and inspiring. I have to admit I sometimes cry during the concerts... :woot:

No surprise... The more times you watch it, the more emotionally connected you get with the characters... :)

Watched episodes 3 and 4 of Nodame Cantabile yesterday and today. :victory:
What a marvellous drama this is. I find it really relaxing to watch. And of course the music's so enjoyable, too.

I can't get over Mine's hair - it looks totally fried by bleach (and it probably is, given how long it must have taken to get his hair blond).
Stressman is so funny. I love his arm-waving flourishes - when he's talking I mean. But has anyone noticed he has seriously dry lips? Try Vaseline, man. :hehe:
Ueno Juri - what a delight. Not just looks but talent too *jealous* She's adorable. :victory:
Tamaki Hiroshi is also enjoyable. I like to marvel at how his hair is always perfectly styled. It even withstands Nodame's many dives at him. Wow.

Wait 'til Episode 5...

Rachmanininoff's Piano Concerto #2 in C minor, Op.18 - 1st Movement in the last third gives Nodame a totally unexpected dramatic punch... Terrific.

Yeah, it's really harsh and brassy... Perfect for his character. :D

Ueno Juri - what a delight. Not just looks but talent too *jealous* She's adorable. :victory:

Unbelievably adorable... Talk about completely inhabiting a character...

She IS Nodame.

Nice, more Nodame Cantabile fans!

I never noticed Stressman's lips; too busy trying to figure how anyone can do an accent like he does hehe. Certainly Juri-chan is adorable, as you've stated, and it was her antics and facial expressions in Ep. 4 that really won me over on the drama.

Next time you see Stressman, just look at his mouth. It's like the Sahara!
Yeah, what is that accent of his - is it meant to be German?
It's weird.

I didn't realize it was a real anime. But no. :hehe:
