I never understood what actually was supposed to have happened in this scene. It looks like he still has plenty of room to move around - I wonder if it's just showing that Nodame wore him out and he couldn't continue his pursuit.

Appropriately over the top paired with Verdi's Requiem. :mrgreen: I'm always impressed with Juri-chan's acting in scenes like this one and her outburst at the end of episode 10 when she lost the competition. She's able to convey all the seriousness, pain, and emotion but never for a moment was she not Noda Megumi. Keeping in character while pulling off those scenes was truly noteworthy.

Agreed... those were some of the scenes which really elevated the drama to greatness in my opinion. I absolutely love the scene after the competition.
