must've been earlier in the day, tonight is cool, comfortable summer evening...
i've pretty much been in 90-100+ weather for the last few weekends, 80's dont bother me much anymore, but it seems ill have to get used to the cold again.
cool, overcast mornings are perfect for a long walk/hike/maybe washing car.....and when the clouds break, and it is sunny and warm, then cool to go to the beach or stay indoors to keep cool, or whatevers...
the weather was nice, mostly in LA today for interview...
drive back to OC was tough during rush hour on the 405 fwy, glad i don't have to do it daily....
i heard from my pen pal in Nagoya, that an incoming Typhoon is going to hit, hope they are ok, should get a lot of rain there. guess it is normal to get typhoons there.

Yeah I heard from my friend who lives near Kobe that the typhoon has already hit Tokyo. So lets hope they all are OK. Yes typhoons are expected in Japan just like we get hurricanes on the East Coast this time of year.

i was talking to my pen pal, and she told me that she had to bring in her dogs and stuff in, before the typhoon hits....hope they are ok.

I hope so too qilver. Basically she probably has to worry about the strong winds and possible flooding. I went away last weekend I came back home and found out a hugh tree had fallen on my neighbors's van and car, parked in their driveway, during a strong thunderstorm. Luckily no one was hurt. So when typhoons and hurricanes hit you just hope and pray that everyone is safe after the storm passes through. You have to make sure you have enough water and food supplies for yourself, your family and your pets, extra batteries, a transistor radio, extra flash lights and some candles in case the electricity goes. Lets hope for the best for your pen pal.
PS. Edited to say......and of course some nice bottles of wine should be on hand also, just to wait out the storm in style.
