Right.
And I'm currently reading my Yama-moto-yama green tea bag's ingredients label.

Yep, I'm a bookworm. |
also try 'geisha of gion' if you haven't already. it's written by a true geisha and will probably give you a better insight into the exclusive world of geisha than 'memoirs...'

oh, ok! thanks. i'll go look for it then. i've been reading "memoirs" because they're making a movie out of it and i like reading the books before seeing the movie. i only started it and it's pretty ok so far.

i like to read the book before seeing the film also. i've just finished 'the da vinci code' and am looking forward to the film when it's finally released.

Kenjilina,
Have you read the Wind-Up Bird Chronicle?
Also, i've never read Choke, but i've read Haunted and Diary, which are both interesting. Very bleak though.
Diary has a really interesting style to it. _________________ i'm not okay (i promise)

Lullaby. I knew there was one book of his i'd forgotten to mention, and that's the one. Really enjoyable.
I like the kind of subtle weirdness Murakami puts in all his stories.
The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle is cool. Interestingly enough, the first story in the Elephant Vanishes is pretty much the first chapter of the Wind-Up Bird Chronicle.
Strangely enough, both the long and short versions work quite well by themselves. _________________ i'm not okay (i promise)
