gosh the whole episode was so much sadder than the other ones.... well jus the tone and mood... so gloomy and depressing. gosh, shuji seroiusly didnt recognize him, how could their eyes have met when shuji was only looking closely when the guy was turned around? and all because shuji tried to help that girl the night before... :puppydog: poor poor shuji... gosh kame's heartfelt expressions just killed me this whole episode... his eyes... and then all of the friendship stuff thrown in on the side was definitely driving me to the point of tears almost...
thank goodness it ended on a happier note.. im glad that nobuta's bond with shuji is more than aoi, of course it is becauseshuji's been with her from the very start... and akira didnt freak out as much as i thought hewould about the photo.. then again he vowed to always believe shuji, so i duno.. thought shuji was gonnaexplain on the stairs about the hug but... he didnt...
the part with the ropes at the end was sweet. and right in front of the whole class... i hope shuji realizes now that he can depend on those two... so very sweet. good end to the episode...

I mean Shuji could have been open about it and let that one bad girl have it, but he held back in telling Nobuta the truth, i thought that was hard, and even though he lied, he didn't want to hurt Nobuta's feelings, he wanted to be gentle and kind about it, I also think he should hook back up with Cute Mariko-chan, and eat her nice lunches, she is hot!, Akira, funny man that he is, he should just open up his feelings about Nobuta, but also confront them about the pic and his feelings on what is hurting him so much. I am not sure who Nobuta likes, but I think she values their friendship, basically all of them do. Basically I think Aoi is just getting into this cause she has the hots for Shuji, and He should tell her off and put her in her place for causing all this mess. Shuji and Mariko should hook up, and go on a double date with Akira and Nobuta, how's that for a good episode 9, probably not the way it will turn out, but sounded nice. All in all, i like how the character's are in this story and how Shuji's true side is coming out, even though he has to deal with his loneliness and depression, his true friends are always there for him, Akira and Nobuta, and maybe Mariko-chan in a way.

But in terms of suicide, i don't think his character would take it that far. I think it helps that he has his two good friends and even mariko-chan, who has stayed hopeful and loyal to him. I don't see a love triangle either, although it seems that way at times. It is apparent that Akira has given up on Nobuta in a way, but truthfully, i think he hasn't gotten over her. Shuji, not sure who he likes, i just think he turned a good girl down in Mariko, and yes Nobuta maybe be more beautiful, but i still think Mariko is the one for him. (if a cute girl like that made me lunch, i would make her lunch in return, she's got my attention... :hehe: , ok..i think Akira despite his wackyiness, should show his tender side to Nobuta and should opens some doors of romance...don't know why, but i think Akira and Nobuta should hook up, and well, Shuji and Mariko-chan should hook up too, and they should kick Aoi's butt for messing things up. I think each of the three friends really sacrifices their own true feelings for the sake of the others. Look at Nobuta, and how much she sacrifices, even though she is at the receiving end while producing Nobuta. She enjoys seeing others happy, and sometimes forgets who she is or what she wants. Akira's attracted by her, sense of innocence and pureness, besides she is so cute too. who knows what ep 9 will have in store for all of us, i just know that it has gotten more twisted and exciting with this so-called Aoi, and not to forget about Bando...what a name :hehe: , that girl has a heap of issues she has chosen to not deal with and is hiding behind her superficial personality, as if we see that too much in our own lives with the people we come across...funny world we all live in.
I just watched ep 8 (I know I'm very slow) but this is prob the best Nobuta ep I've seen
