yeh i like the ava too, its such a cute moment hehe getting captured by his hair |
reading books for kids is an excellent way to learn. i read a book called 'tebukuro o kai ni'. it's a cute tale about a young fox who goes to town to buy some gloves because of the snow. recommended.

haha yea... up to the fourth book of harry potter now... just started reading the beginning but its REALLY hard choosing between harry potter & watching GTO... and knowing i SHOULD be doing C++...
thanks for the advice, mixxdreamer and kenjilina!!! thats such a good idea, finding books for children... especially since it IS easier for kids to learn languages than for adults... sweet! ill definitely look into it |
flash cards, yeah, got them for a buck or less at Target. I use them for my Hiragana exercises. It helps out quite a bit.
wow three threes, GTO, Harry Potter, and your C++, not necssarily in that order right?

i tried reading harry potter to kensha no ishi(philosopher's stone) but gave up after 20 pages. it was just too difficult. although it's for kids it's not for young kids so i'll try again when i'm more proficient.
