Since the killing scene is so important (for Gan Ning and Zhou Tai), I suggest that in DW6, when they make character story lines, there should be a cutscene along with a mission. For instance, if you play Zhou Tai, it'll show a scene where Gan Ning is killed, then your objective is to start the fire then eliminate him. Sounds cool!

More comics to come hehe

That sounds very cool, I think if they make it like that DW6 will be a great hit in PS3
and can't wait to your comic strip Mr Green Mr Green

lol Yea, dont go destroying your monitor =)

but it's really odd how the 3rd picture (an official 3 kingdoms drawing of Zhang Jiao) resembles our famed terrorist so much. Coincidence? Plus, they both have similar backrounds. They both started some kind of "revolt" because of the "corrupt" government. And in the end, they both are taken down!

All these talking of Zhang Jiao seemed to create a sudden liking of him yes?Well Zhang Jiao and Osama had many many differences.I'll just name the obvious few.

1)Zhang Jiao did not extort money from the citizens. They gave him things of value in their own will.Calling up soldiers to fight?!?Nah that isn't nessecary in Zhang Jiao's case.

2)Zhang Jiao is definitely more clever than Osama!!!What can you expect less from a scholar!!!But truth to tell...Zhang Jiao's use of strategy isn't as good as Osama.Start a rebellion and die in less than 2 years?!?That's rather pathetic...

Zhang Jiao and his two younger brothers Zhang Bao and Zhang Liang, founded a taoist religious sect and considered themselves followers of the "Way of Supreme Peace". Zhang Jiao styled himself as the "Great Teacher", healing patients for free because they were too poor to pay and giving out medicines and foods (who dun love free items hehe ). They gathered ppls and asked their patients to spread it amongst the peasants. Within days the the rebellion was proclaimed.

Their slogan :
VߎCVc ("The Blue Sky (the Han Dynasty) has perished, the Yellow Sky (the rebellion) will soon rise)

Yeah I remember his siblings, they could even cast whirlwind and falling rocks ne~
Anyone remember the 'macho-beauty' Zhang He?? His wolfrine like claws are deadly, but wiki says :

"Zhang He is a playable character in the Koei video game series Dynasty Warriors. Zhang is often cited by fans of the games to be one of its most unique and memorable characters, although this opinion is split fiercely between positive and negative feedback. Zhang is also one of a handful of characters that Koei have completely removed from traditional depictions of his historical counterpart, which has angered people who believe his portrayal to be demeaning or insulting, although there is no evidence to suggest that this is true or even the intention of the series' creators. Zhang is portrayed as a somewhat beautiful, graceful and effeminate warrior. Due to his obsession with grace and elegance, and his disdain for vulgarity and crudeness, he is often thought by fans to be homosexual, although this has never been mentioned by Zhang or any other character in the series during cinematic sequences or in-game dialogue. It is likely Zhang is simply supposed to appear eccentric, as characters such as Xiahou Yuan and Cao Cao, have stated that Zhang often acts "strange" and "weird."

Zhang uses exaggerated clawed gloves or tiger claws called the "Pheonix Talons," and fights in a swift, graceful and deadly manner. His allegiance is originally to Yuan Shao, although Zhang later defects to Yuan's rival, Cao Cao, at the Battle of Guan Du, stating that: "Yuan Shao's crudeness is maddening!" From this battle onwards, Zhang serves Cao Wei with deadly efficiency and to great success. His greatest battle victory comes with the ambush and destruction of the surrounded Ma Su of Shu Han. After his men cut Ma's supply line and his troops begin to die of malnutrition, Zhang states that "A beautiful flower needs water, and these flowers have none!" proceeding to devastate the enemy camp in a lightning assault. Zhang He was said to be the only officer truly feared by the "Sleeping Dragon," Zhuge Liang.

Zhang He is commonly mistaken for the Street Fighter character Vega in pictures and magazines."

Zhang He in reality not the same as in DW ne~ quite a shock there

Yup.Zhang He in real life is a talented officer not heavily used by Yuan Shao, who preferred to rely on the two bahemoths Wen Chou and Yan Liang, which is pretty obvious because Zhang He look so weak compared to the massive frame of those two.

And his weapon of choice is a spear. No fancy name.Just a common spear.Which makes sense to me.If you are so powerful why bother to waste time meaning some special weapon right?I can't imagine anyone using claws in war...kind of suicidial.

From what I read...in the real war it's pretty impossible to see anything beyond 100m when you are engaged in a melee with another troop. You are talking about thousands of soldiers clashing!!!Too much commotion to view outside of the "fight".

The rock trick need not be that troublesome. In fact from the terrain these rocks fell from...it's a pretty common trap.Since one is on a higher ground then the enemies...build a wooden barricade strong enough to substain the weight of the massive boulders. There's no fear of the boulder rolling to one side when the barricade is removed since gravity is pushing it down and down only.

To this thread's two supporters...I thank you for posting these few days.So I decided to consult you both before I make this decision.Should I make this a open-end Chinese history thread? So that ppl with knowledge from the First Emperor of China Ying Zheng to the last emperor of China Pu Yi can join in as well.Give meyour thoughts. If you find that focusing on the Three Kingdoms is goos enough then tell me as well. Thanks!!! Mr Green

This thread isn't moving...better ask some questions...

Who is the best diplomat in your eyes for this dynasty?I personally favour Man Chong of Cao Cao's camp.He had such a glib tongue, very clever at "boot-licking" and best of all....the recepients of his word love what he said!!!So yeah...he's the best to me.
