Finished Nodame Unfortunately i'm not as good as Wyn-chan at reviewing dramas, so i'll just say that it lives up to all the hype - and more. Juri Ueno IS brilliant, and although I found the Stresemann character irritating at first, in the end I didn't mind him at all. Takenaka Naoto has an impressive voice at least Tamaki Hiroshi was great as the uptight Chiaki-senpai, and the rest of cast are uniformly excellent
Nodame Cantabile should be on everyone's must-watch list.

The operative word here being 'pretty'. Out of those 17 or so girls, I'd probably call one pretty (Morita Ayaka), and one passable (Nishihara Aki). The rest I can do without. I know some members idolize Eikura Nana, but she didn't really know how to act, and has the vitalstatistics of a 2 X 4 (plank of wood, for those not familiar with this term).
Agreed.

Just watch out for the leaves on the top. They seem very pokey.
i've just decided to stop Water Boys for a while... stuck on episode 7. i love how they suddennly used Do As Infinity's song (i think) when the boys did the syncro swim in episode 7, you know, coz it wasn't the usual classic music, but that didn't get enough of my attention.
i'm back with the masterpiece, Katori Shingo, Shinsengumi season 3 episode 26...
i have a feeling it's gonna make my saturday night _________________

Agree with you except for this part 'the Stresemann character irritating at first, in the end I didn't mind him at all'---> found him irritating until the end..haha at first i though he is a conman or something...
but still nodame is a great drama..credits to juri ueno and tamaki hiroshi!!
mukyaaaaa!!
ahh i agree with you & Anime Dad, lol! well, actually im in the middle-- i thought he was SO irritating in the beginning, but by the end i was like mehhhh whatever. but still slightly weird. i guess it adds to the dorama though ^^ but nodame is soooo good. ueno juri is amazing, im so glad she won an award for her acting bc she totally deserved it. oh and tamaki hiroshi... ahhhhh sooo lovely.
i tried out so many doramas in the past few days:
sexy voice & robot (refuse to watch anymore)
liar game (absolutely LOVE, cannot wait for the next episode!!!)
tokkyu tanaka 3 go (probably will also scrap this dorama because ummmmmmmmm yeah. even though i think tsukamoto takashi is great in it, koki is grating on my nerves... all his characters are the same.. )
ProDai (thought this was sooo bad until i watched koki's dorama and sexy voice & robot-- now its not all that bad to me anymore. but i dont particularily like masami, nor do i particularily like the story soooo i may scrap this as well.. )
love generation (im really slow and havent watched this yet.... but my friend refuses to watch more with me soo i hafta wait till im alone to watch more )
koukou kyoushi 2003 (mehhh so far)
the queen's classroom (which isnt bad, but i honestly cannot stand the 14 sai no haha girl as of current...)
OH, and also finished watching trick 1 and trick 2, so started on trick 3... it gets better each season, i think!~ need to get started on joudan janai! _________________
I haven't been able to continue Honmamon all weak.
I hope it's not bad discs. Are you getting weary from watching it so fast.
Remember when we saw it, it was once a day for 15 minutes for 4 days a week. It took a year.

Nono, it's not that at all. I LOVE the drama so far. I could prolly sit and finish it in a whole day. It's just finding the time! I have no time to sit and watch, so I'm falling behind my drama watching. Hopefully tomorrow... _________________

I'm doing some sympathy watching of Honma Mon. But every time I do, I end up watching for the next 3 hours. This has to be the best asadora ever (after Churasan of course). IMO Chizuru Ikewaki gives an academy award performance.

That's what I loved about asadora's!! It was kind of like checking up on neighborhood news first thing every morning. That's also why I'm so pissed at channel 18 for NOT having them anymore!

Gah! I can't believe that I finished watching Nodame in 2 days! I will probably be watching My Boss, My Hero next. Seems to be good from what people are saying, so I hope it is. _________________
