It's a 509 page book.

There was a lot to dislike.

Tu-trik

It's mean to bring up memories of matsuko, when I'm already reeling from having read a Stephen King book that I didn't like.

This is not the way my world is supposed to work.

I won't be able to read a novel until I unpack, so right now I'm just reading Marvel's Civil War: Front Line #3. Good

I think Eve is sending me Nodame (anime), so I'll check it out. I'll send you the manga if I can get it. Tho you'll prolly be disappointed. It's like people being disappointed when watching a movie based on a book, or vice versa. The second version is never as good as the first version you're exposed to.

Anyways, I think we're off topic... Sweat

Last night I started Cold Mountain by Charles Frazier. One of my IB students is writing her extended essay on it, so I decided to read it to better help her with her paper. It was #1 on the New York Times Bestseller list for a year.

I've seen the movie and really liked it, although it was really sad. I cried buckets. Puppy Dog Eyes

Right now, reading a book for my linguistics class about language and culture. Weird person that I am finds it really interesting. Most others in my class think it's really dry and boring. Oh well. hehe

Yea, I heard there was a movie as well, but I prolly won't attempt to watch it until after I've read the book. So far it's really gripping... in terms of the writing style. I've only read 10 pages. Beaten
