As far as career dramas go, Angel Bank is alright. I found the characters a bit too over worked however, and the lessons supposedly learned by our heroine to be inscrutable. It's also never a good sign when the lead character gets on your nerves. With a less than stellar supporting cast, this drama is average, watchable. But nothing you should set aside time for. Not unless you're a diehard fan of Hasegawa Kyoko who, as I mentioned, is not at her best. |

Not bad. My wife loved this one whereas I enjoyed it but not as much as her. Again, I think the humor gets a bit lost during the translation. Still worth a watch if you like something light. |
