1. Touching drama of real life [Rating: 9/10]
Drama starts interestingly and keeps going on describing problems of normal people in real life. Cast contains no teens, which makes the already touching story more believable. All the actors/actresses play their roles very well. Music and small parts of embedded Irish mythology fit in perfectly. If I would be put to describe this drama with only one word, it would be: sweet :)

just finished and i'm satisfied with the ending. i'm glad that everything was resolved without being forced. this drama might be too slow for other but i thought it was just right and there weren't a lot of fanfares for cliches or unnecessary stuff. pretty straight forward. didn't feel draggy at all.

No stunt casting, no non-acting Johnnies, no flashy direction, just a superb drama about people drawn together after an attempted suicide. You get the feeling the characters are real people leading real lives and it is a tangible sense of melancholy running throughout. The script and cast are excellent and refreshingly I don't anybody is under thirty. It is very slow and subdued, and has some of the longest scenes and individual shots I've even seen in a j-drama. I swear that there was a single shot of about 5 minutes in the 3rd episode.

The story in episode 1 was promising, meeting while saving a man whose thinking of committing suicide and both lead characters coincidentally have already experienced the same sentiments once in their lives. The story was slow pace, so you might want to discontinue watching it from time to time. The story was average. But I must say that the hobby of those two old men were really just freaking weird, I wonder what wouldfve happened if their loved ones found out about it?

At first glance, it may seem to be a slow pace show and that may put you off, but underneath that, is a touching and inspiring story about 2 lonely hearts. The tiny miracles and problems that they face are very close to heart for the audience. Both nakama and the actors pulled off this show quite splendidly i would say.
A slow but inspiring story that forces you to appreciate the things around you.

wowowowowow. super slow drama but oh so good. not for people who want a fast-paced drama or even normal paced ones. and its not even a rom-com. it's a romance drama, but barely. yet. it is a beautiful romance, in its way, and no other way will do. that is what makes it so awesome for me, anyway.
5. Comments by xerith [Rating: 7/10]
Slow plot but I quite liked it up until about episode 6 or 7. Then I felt that the story could have proceeded faster. Nevertheless, its nice to watch something that isn't the usual highschool or detective Japanese dramas once in a while.

difficult to say why 8p. although there is nearly no story, but it's interesting to see, how the people cope with their problems and it's some kind of romantic. (soundtrack and video-style are pretty good)

Slow romance and family drama. But with a little bit of patience your reward is superb acting, wonderfully sad and funny moments and a realistic lovestory - meddling family members included.
8. Comments by dokaben [Rating: 7/10]
Started strong but it seemed like the writer didn't know where to go with it. As if there was this great premise and an excellent cast but not enough depth to fill 11 episodes.

Very good drama about people falling love around 30 years of age, though it started out slow at first. Great filming, scenery, sometimes even feel like you're watching a movie.

I thought this was a good drama. I felt that it ending could have been better but I understand what the central message of the story is so the ending worked out fine.

really solid but sort of shifted downward towards the end, imo.

still a solid drama, but the build up was definitely better than the climax.

really really slow yet funny and brilliant drama. Humor is just perfect here, so somehow common but still puts smile on your face :).

It's kind of weird that the two families should meet so often before marriage. The two fathers were cute.

Nakama Yukie is so kawai. Very woeful story which tackles the issue of suicide -- particularly relevent in Japan, the country of workaholics. The Enya song is just amazing -- one of the best song ever! "Dreams are more precious than gold."
