Eguchi plays a guy in charge of antique auctions. I hear it's a very good drama! Starring Eguchi Yousuke, Hazuki Riona, Matsumoto Kenshiro, Ibu Masatou, Ishihara Youshizumi, Oshima Satoko, Okayama Hajime and Namiki Shiro. Eguchi plays a man in charge of antique auctions. Tachibana Masayuki (Eguchi Yosuke) is a famous auctioneer who worked at England for some time, supposedly. But his colleagues at Weisz Tokyo do not like his nosy attitude. Tachibana's main quest is to find and make the 2nd Mona Lisa his own. But along the way, he comes across a number of problems and rivals.

1. Great! [Rating: 9/10]
Great! i have the vcd till today and i still play them. this drama makes me wants to work in auction so much!! Not that the plot about 'Mona Lisa' is so interesting, but rather the stories in between that captured my attention.

There are several touching scenes now and then. there are definitely funny scenes as i dun think anyone can really endure an all-serious drama 10 episodes long, or maybe you can? i dun know why some ppl juz dun like this drama. i watched the drama and love the songs so much that i went searching for the Original Sound Track. Thank God, I found it and bought it and i still play it until today.

the only 1 point gone is perhaps the reason 'Yosuke Eguchi' entered Weisz Tokyo. im not that into 'Mona Lisa'...though the art itself is amazing...and i always thought 'Weisz Tokyo' is quite a cool name???!!!

2. A not so good forgery of a drama [Rating: 6/10]
This is about a auction house and the staff that work there. It has a pretty good idea for a plot of giving us an inside look at the security and other concerns involved with running this business. But like one of the first episodes this is just a forgery of a drama. Except for a couple of decent episodes, the whole cast (including some big names) just sleep walk thru their performances. I would only suggest you watch this if you have problems falling asleep.

This stylish, classy drama takes you through the high priced art world and on the hunt for the missing Mona Lisa.
well scripted and acted. Eguchi Yosuke deserves the winnnig bid for his role of appraiser and auctioneer extrordinaire!

4. Worth a try [Rating: 7/10]
This show is quite different from a typical Eguchi Yousuke show. If you are looking for a romance story, it's nothing here! It is similar to the style of the drama "Hero". One drama with multiple stories. Above average.

7/10 for entertainment value. If I were an art connoisseur or auctioneer, I would have given this a 1/10. The scriptwriters didn't do much research into auction houses or valuers, and the producers simply banked on Eguchi's charm to bring in the ratings. Booooooo

A Stylish drama. The high priced, high paced world of the uppercrust auction houses mix well with the search for the missing Mona Lisa. Eguchi Yosuke is wonderful as the arrogant and talented, Tachibana, appraiser and auctioneer extraordinaire.
