Tabe Mikako is the only actress I have seen play a detective who solves cases by sniffing things like a dog - while still remaining cute... There isn't much more that can be said really; there is nothing else that really stands out in this drama, it's certainly not a stand out crime drama, and it's not even particularly good as a comedy, but at the same time there is also nothing done wrong. It is a stand out light hearted, cute drama. Nothing that you will remember years later, but simple fun while you watch. |

What I liked best were the characters. They definitely were great on their own, which was why I actually liked the low-budget pre-special special so very much! They defeinitely have some lovely runnign gags and I liked the whole metadrama stuff. As for the cases and the whole sniffing - well... not so much. But then I'm not a police/ detective genre fan anyway, so I liked the drama for its characters and was fine with that. :3 Funny and easygoing amusement. |

I watched this only because I had a lot of time at hand this season because of a broken foot. Ironically enough Deka Wanko also injures her foot in an early episode, so I could a actually identify myself with this silly show. Tabe Mikako's features are a bit too strong to be really cute but that added another a layer of irony for me and her costumes are fun to watch. |

Going in thought it would be a zany and silly series but for the most part wasn't, actually it's a fairly solid police drama and a good one at that. No real big stars but really an A list of B-stars who all did a good job, quite an enjoyable watch. |
