Tokyo Elevator Girl

I'm not quite sure why I don't like this drama. At first I thought my dislike was based in my morals, but on further thought I realized that this is not the case. I mean, I'm the one who is 100% on Angelina Jolie's side in the whole Brad-Jen-Angie triangle. So why do I have such a problem with this drama?

ALL the actors/actresses did an amazing job, and the plot is intriguing. Even the cinematography had its "wow" moments.

The only thing I can say is that I feel I've been lied to by the main characters. Tsukasa was portrayed as a naive, kind, caring female who you wish you could be like.

Yoshimoto was sensitive, gentle, and comfortable. You wished he wasn't married so that he could save Tsukasa from her miserable relationship with Shima.

But he was married. And becaue they fall in love with each other, they end up losing the qualities I liked about them. I was misled, and instead of getting some closure or resolve, I was left with an ending that betrayed the movements of the storyline.

Not cool.

Gosh did this one air this long ago? I'm getting old! Storyline is blessed with some good acting Akai Hidekazu does some good work on this one as a separated father dealing with the attraction of the lovely Miyazawa Rie living in the apartment next door. As always, Sano Shiro is a crack-up, playing the nerdy boss having an affair with one of the 'elevator girls' Worth a look!
