Well Im midway through Key now.
Im a little tired of the "side of evil" deal. Kind of predictable conflict, but the main characters are charming. Especially the guys. :hehe: :hehe:

L-E released Blood+ ep1 today, the intro looks hella cool

things look promising, lot better than the movie it seems.

Down to my last 5 episodes of Hajime No Ippo.
Was unbelievably exciting when he performed his "Dempsey Roll" on the boxer from Thailand. :beaten:
Or Takamura-san taking the title with his left :woot:
Looking forward to the final showdown with Sendou-san.
SO happy I have all the action figures too. :hehe: :hehe:

Im on the fourth episode and continuing to forge ahead. So far so good.

That's a great show. :D I'm a big fan. It didn't get as much attention as it deserved.

Im finding Key has a small but loyal following. :victory:

Hope she hits her 30,000 friends goal. :fingerscrossed:

@Koshiba ` I love your avatar. I am a big Urusei Yatsura fan. I have 100 eps on tape. :woot: I adore the entire crowd at Tomobiki High. :glomp:

Yea, Pierrot-han doesn't compare to Kuro-yan on expression, but he is silly and funny in his own special way :hehe:

did you guys hear? K-F (one piece) is changing from avi to .x264 (mp4), fruck! even if it freakin works with my players but how am i gonna freakin burn it?! i know i sound so selfish but it would help if they put up like instructions on other problems, and plus that never give them a problem for 3 years now, and why change now!? gAahH! i didnt even care about the changes but i was completely contented with avi.. if theyre gonna continue doing this, then we're all screwed and freakin rely on those HK sucky subs i hate these guys :grumble: :usuck: :banghead: i even complained too but i guess that wont help plus i feel bad to those who had or bought divx/xvid for that purpose (watch one piece) .. i knew somethings gonna happen like this, and f*ck us over.

anyway, i use nero vision to burn my AVIs to dvd, do u guys know any upgrade software or anything, cuz i really dunno squat about tweaking nero.

I know what you mean. I don't understand why people feel the need to jump on the "latest and greatest" video codec, when the ones we have out there (DIVX/XVID/etc) are already more than adequate for the job. My computer is currently a little slow for doing x264 decoding, so I usually just re-encode in divx, and the heck with them and their fancy new codecs.

whats so great about x264?????
I have no idea what its suppose to do and what makes it any different from avi

Actually, AVI is a container format. They are switching codecs from Xvid to x264, i.e. they are using a new compression encoding called x264. The difference is that x264 gives a little bit sharper image (there is less "blockiness" if you blow the picture up and look at detail). Of course, the obvious tradeoff is that it takes a little more CPU power to decode x264. You don't get nicer picture for free.

The thing is, if you play the two versions side by side, I'll bet you a dollar that you will not see any difference. It's not too hard to see the difference when you look at an enlarged, still frame, but I think it's close to impossible for a normal person to detect much difference when the video is actually playing.

That's my opinion on it anyway.

thanks for the explaination loris

If its not too much a difference, I too don't see the point in switching over to x264
