Laputa is a classic, i remember watching it when i was like 7 or 8. Still wtach it over and over again. :victory:

Yap, I like GIBLI coll ^^

The first impression that makes me watch is Spirited away :victory:

The character animation wasn't as good as others but the simplicity and storyline makes me impressed :applaud:

Mimi Wo Sumaseba.
A great anime...uses John Denver`s song COUNTRY ROAD as the main theme song but in japanese. I`d say it`s one of my fav from his work.

Bmwracer, I love Mononoke hime,,great soundtrack no??
I`ve got the entire GIBLI collection on DVD for my birthday last year and to be honest I luv all of em apart from Hotaru No Haka which was just too sad :shamefulcry:

I am going in March :woot:
... but in the beginning of March :shamefulcry:

OT: I started to watch Summer Wars but the sound and the movie are not in synch. Not sure how to fix this ... But the art is grand and the main character is voiced by Kamiki Ryunosuke.

Me too. I had to translate the japanese title though to figure out which one that was. :ashamed:

Now in my usual non-intellectual fashion, I am obsessed with another sports anime. Eyeshield 21. Tried it a couple years back and it didnt grab me then but it certainly has now. :victory:

Aaaaahhhh that movie destroyed me. :shamefulcry: I used to teach World/Asian History and I'd make my kids watch it, though it probably scarred them for life, lol. Good times, good times...
