I used to have a ritual everytime a cartridge doesn't work. i blow into the cartridge a few times, then shake vigorously, then give it a slight tap. If that doesn't work, I just repeat it until it does. Most of the time it works in one go.

i used to draw a circle on the ground with pig's blood and throw goat bone's and read the fortune of the cartridge....

I'm playing that winmugen game i just dled SubZero as one of the playable characters. His fatalities are quite amusing.

One of them he like summons a little penguin. Penguin lays egg underneath opponent, egg explodes and so does opponent :hehe:
