I guess it's safe to say that Japan is too weak, definitely dont' deserve to go through to the second round.

Brazil is playing agains Australia atm, and they look shapeless again. I hope for at least a tie.

Yea. Japan doens't look like they can survive in 2nd round even if they some how make it. Hope they get stronger for the next world cup.

I'm surprise Brazil is at a tie. Looks like Aus. D is giving them a really hard time.

they need to field some anime characters with special powers to play for them......

they need to hire Azuma Kazuma as their goalie...so he can stop all the balls with his Solar Hands :hehe:

3 min into 2nd half and GOOOAAALLLL!!!!!!!! Brazil up 1-0

Glad they tied, but I agree Japan's not gonna survive for much longer playing like that. But, omg, all Yanagisawa had to do was nudge the ball gently into the goal and it would of been 1-0 :grumble:

yea, that had lots of good chances.
Looked like they played more to keep their opponent from scoring.

ha! ha! that sure is a severe heartbreak for the french. they dominated the whole game. the korean hardly even got into the french penalty area and barthez rarely touched the ball.

maybe after all the rest he got barthez had already cool down. that was why he missed the ball.

but i am amazed with the korean supporters. they was one goal down. outplayed by the french, yet that seemed to not bother them. they kept on cheering for their team. well, i guess they'll have a big party tonight.

Not to sound like a pessimist... but Japan seriously has a slim to none chance of winning that game against Brazil. Brazil is getting stronger in their performance with each match and honestly... would perform better if Ronaldo would stop f*cking start off the games! LOL. He actually ran today though... yay for him... :applaud:

& I'm so happy that S.Korea tied against France!~ YAY! I'm so proud.

:hehe: you're right Brazil is starting to play their usual game, but seriously they need to start Robinho instead of Ronaldo...Ronaldo just isn't game fit.
