Not to sound like a pessimist... but Japan seriously has a slim to none chance of winning that game against Brazil. Brazil is getting stronger in their performance with each match and honestly... would perform better if Ronaldo would stop f*cking start off the games! LOL. He actually ran today though... yay for him... :applaud:
& I'm so happy that S.Korea tied against France!~ YAY! I'm so proud.
Hey who are those guys in your sigs? They got nice hair.
I saw the game. The guy that scored for S. Korea, was he the guy that came in to replace Ho, the guy who was injured? I saw the support, it was touching to see a group of people unified like that.
:hehe: you're right Brazil is starting to play their usual game, but seriously they need to start Robinho instead of Ronaldo...Ronaldo just isn't game fit.
yeah, it's better for brazil to start their next game without ronaldo. in the game against australia he was marked tightly by three australians and with his overweight body there's no way he can get pass them. He looks tired and seldom run in his entire game. ha, i really miss the old ronaldo :shakehead:
I'm So happy ! France will be :boot: soon . :jumpie:
I think Korea was great ! good players . and Ahn Jung-Hwan is very cute . :nut:
yeah but the French got robbed...they scored a goal and the Korean goalie clearly caught the ball behind the goal line....sucks.....the referees in this World Cup suck ass.

I thought the ball the ball has the hit the ground or net after it passes the goal line for it to be consider a score.

no as long as the entire ball is past the goal line it doesn't need to hit the ground or the net....once the entire ball passes the "plane" represented by the goal line it's a goal

OOHHHH. I've just been enlightened.
Thanks senpai.
France got robbed of a goal

Like says Tu-tricky, the ball must pass the line completely in or under the ground, like an out ball (it arrive often for corners when the ball is out during the shoot)
So the goal was clearly put, proof by video. But it's football, the arbitration doesn't progress since 1930
:hehe:

yes, there will always be good calls by the referees and bad calls....it's just sad that when they have such a fundamental impact on the game
The one problem is that the referees where in a bad position to see the play clearly, and the ball appeared to cross the line briefly. I'm not defending the refs in any way, but when the keeper is in the goal when he stops the ball, that could be a clue for you.
sao wrote:Problem is arbitration for this kind of situation don't based on the video, it's a pity !
However the keeper was in the goal behind the line when he stops the ball with her legs, yes, but I don't blame the referees just the system !
Arbitration is not the strong point of this world cup, for sure
yes you are right.....more importantly than the goal...because Zidane got another yellow card in the last match he will miss the upcoming match...if France does not advance to the next round that will be LAST match Zidane ever plays for France...because he is retiring after the World Cup.
The referees are giving WAY TOO MANY yellow and red cards...it's ridiculous.

If the matches were longer than 2 periods, the US would have lost its entire team from red cards.
  fuggin' a...you kill me, son.
that referee f*cked up the whole match...if that referee was banned from officiating second round matches in the 2002 World Cup due to "irregularities" WHY BRING HIM BACK? that piece of sh*t...
US winning or Italy winning aside, he screwed up the game...

Seriously, I would have loved to see a competitive game with 11 per side, not 9 on 10. I have a feeling that ref thought he was fighting bulls, pulling that red card out....ole.
Yes France does absolutely win the next match without Zidane. It's also arrived in 1998, he have had a red card in the start of competition.
Zidane certainly hopes to continue much longer for her last worldcup, but we'll see, this group is interesting because it's the last match which will determine which teams will continue.
Ahah yes, record of red cards for USA, congratulations ! :victory:

THANK YOU!
the fuggin' stoopid ass biyotch totally jacked up the match. I doubt any World Cup Match has ever been played 9 vs. 10...what a crock!

you are quite right there. the us-italy match was only the fourth such incident in the history of world cup. but well, two were very long time ago in 1938 and 1954. the latest was in france 1998.
and i agree with you, some referees in this tournament so far are idiots.
i cant blame them that much though. Mr Sepp Blatter really needs to consider using technology to assist referees.
BTW (this has got nothing to do with soccer), in the US, when people are talking about "hockey", are they referring to the "ice hockey" or the "field hockey"? i'm a bit confuse now.
