I too just want them to be happy.....except I'm still not ready for Shingo to be married :nut: Men can have kids very late in age if they have young wives. So Hiro and Kumi would have very healthy children because she's very young.

They had quite full of rumours/news last year, 2006. In early 2006, it was rumoured that they had broken up. In the mid-2006, it was reported, they are still together. In the end of 2006, it was rumoured that they're gonna get marry ^_^

In August 2005, a ramen shop owner testified he saw Goro and Miho having dinner there together, and he said they looked like a married couple. That ramen shop is Miho's favorite place, and beside with Goro, she often brings her family or friends there. August 22nd is Miho's birthday, so I assume they went there on Miho's birthday^^ And Goro was in the middle of Sample Bang tour, that time.

Around end of 2005 and early 2006, coincided with Kanno Miho's transfer to KEN-ON agency, many tabloids spread rumours Goro and Miho had broken up with many version of stories. Some said, they've broken up since last year (2005). Some said, they've broken up just now...

In May 2006, the FLASH magazine has proved that Goro and Miho splitting up is not true. They have pictures of Goro and Miho together frequently in last year(2005)'s autumn.

Few days later, Kanno Miho was interviewed:
Reporter: We heard you are going to get married soon?
Miho: Anoo....please direct that kind of questions to the agency office...
Reporter: But your relationship with Inagaki is fine, right?
Miho: Ee, hai...(Uhmm, yes...) *smiling*

In end 2006, tabloids spread rumours Goro and Miho are getting married soon. But apparently it was just false rumours. According to LivNagisa, Kanno Miho doesn't want to get married until the age of 35. Hahaha.... and that is so true! She said it herself in Tunnels food show. So, Goro fans can be at ease, coz he won't get married to 5 years later :hehe:

Based on these latest news, and there had been no breakup rumours since then...and there had been no rumours of Goro's affair with other ladies either :mrgreen: So I assume, Goro and Miho are still together^^ Just maybe they seldom spend time together this year, coz both are quite busy, not to mention Miho got 2 dramas this year.

haha that just gives goro 5 more years to "wander". if you think about it, goro and miho have been involved with each other for almost 10 years. that's more than kimura and kudo! no matter how they end up, i have a feeling that they'll always be a part of each other's lives because of their long history. just look at elizabeth hurley and hugh grant. although i don't wish for miho and goro to end up like them and just remain best friends

Hmm... maybe longer if you count in their first met in 1990, when they were just teenagers :mrgreen:

Kanno Miho debuted in a MorningMusume-like group, called Sakurakko Club consisted of 14 teenage cutesy-cutesy girls.

In 1990, SMAP, TOKIO and Sakurakko Club hosted a variety show together. So I assume Goro and Miho had meet for the first time here. It is confirmed that SMAP already know Miho pretty well since their teenage times, coz when Miho came to Bistro, Nakai mentioned some moments when they hosted that Sakurakko Club variety together, and Nakai remembered how Miho introduce herself to the viewers for the first time, Nakai made fun of that^^ Kimura also remembered her since Sakurakko variety.

But not until the end of 1998, that Goro and Miho becomes close friends, when they worked together in Sommelier dorama. In early 1999, they worked together again in Saimin (Hypnosis) movie. Around this time also, it was reported that Miho broke up with Kashiwabara Takashi^^

In April 1999, Goro and Miho showed up together in SataSma, taking care of a baby with other SMAP members. So I assumed their dating status wasn't reported by the media, until Mid or End of 1999.

However, in the year 2000, Goro and Miho did show up together again in FNS 27-Hours TV Live, where Nakai as the main host and SMAP members also Kanno Miho being the co-hosts. Its interesting how they arranged Goro's seat to be at the far right, and Miho's seat to be at the far left... like to separate them as far as possible :hehe: Nakai greets all the co-hosts, and when he greet Kanno Miho, he paused for awhile, like "Ee~? Kanno Miho? Aa, ah... hai, yoroshiku onegaishimasu!" :hehe:

So, to think of it... it has been 17 years since Goro and Miho known each other. And it has been 8 years since they dated each other (of course, with the brokeup-madeup-brokeup-madeup relationship^^). Still haven't beat out Kimura-Kaorin's 9 years though :mrgreen:

I thought it was okay for their relationships to kinda be public when they're involved with actresses or models. I mean not like open, open but just kinda. That's why she could say that her relationship with Goro was alright.

Oyabin, wanna ask you something... ALL of Nakai's variety shows next week: Black Variety, ZaGyoten, Utaban and KinSma were all noted as "OYASUMI (break/not broadcasting)" in the schedule. As well as Tsuyoshi's Chonankan. And also Shingo's SmaStation will only start again on October 13th.

Does their variety shows always had breaks around end of September - early October? If that's not the case... hehe... I'm wishing their breaks means album-recording... :naughty: Although, I guess, it is too good to be true by now xD

i dont really think they need to take a break to record an album... or was it this way with the previous albums? i am a fan for merely a year so i dont really know.. but i dont think they took any break from their usual routine to record Pop Up last year.

Maybe they're trying to rush recording a cd so they can have a winter concert :fingerscrossed: Oh God let that be true!

Most of pograms aired in golden time(Japanglish?:pm 7:00-pm11:00) have one or two weeks breaks in autumn{
(fr in the end of Sep to the begining of Oct) and spring(March-April).
Because in Japan,xa lot of new programs including dramas start .
So instead of regular programs, may special programs and dramas are aired during the period.
Waratte iitomo doesn't have breaks even during the period as the program is aired in daytime. And Pussuma doesn't, either.

Anyway, I hope they are recording new single now.

On November 18, a POCARI event will be held in Tokyo.
The winners of lottery will be inveited to the event.
The company(Otsuka Seiyaku) hasn't announced SMAP would attend the event, but Japanese fans have been expecting their appearance and bought many bottles of Pocari.
I hope they will appear the event and sing a new song there. I can't go to the event though.
