Remember that Kimura ALMOST sacrifice SMAP and his career. Making that decision means, he was ready for any kind of consequences that will come. So he must have prepared for the worst. But at the same time, he was also struggling hard to prevent it from happening. So I think he also has sacrificed alot during the turmoil in the end of 2000^^

Might be kinda weird, but I feel that he would be worst off if he didn't marry Shizuka. I feel that if her turned his back on her, than maybe he would lose his career. I honestly feel that around that time when he did make that annoucement that he would marry, SMAP would carry on. Johnnys needs to understand that these men are MEN, they are bound to have women, relationships and *gasp* even marriage. I can understand them keeping a tight lease on the younger talent, because that doesn't fly with the young talent and younger fans.

I always felt that when Goro had the police run-in, that maybe Kimura would resent him because he worked hard to balance marriage, SMAP and his career and then for Goro to do something so foolish, I feel that if they weren't in the middle of a tour, SMAP would have stopped all activitiy for a period of time.

I must say.. I'm greedy.. Hehe.. I wish to c all of them.. Esp Nakai.. My darling.. But if one of them will come, i'll be glad also.. Even he's my goban.. :hehe:

Oh wow, you have kids? I always seem to forget that most smappies are Mom's! I wish my Mom would love SMAP. My Dad is aware of SMAP and can actually name them all by face and even asked me why Kimura didn't do a dorama this year. We even take bets on Kimura's job title in future dorama. For the pass few years, my Dad has predicted that Kimura would be a hair stylist and race car driver! And when I told my Dad he would play a banker, he wasn't amused; said it was too boring of a job!

(Dragostea Din Tei is OZONE's song, often sung by Takuya and Goro in the Hostman skit, this animation is from SxS ending song where OZONE guests and SMAP sing with them, in hostman-like costumes! KAKKOI!!! There are all members in the animation, but Shingo is the biggest one. The costumes in this animation picture looks exactly the same with what they wore in the ending song!!^^)


And if anyone interested, this is an English report of the Smappies event we held back in September 2005. I wrote this a long time ago, and thought I will post this in Freebird forum. But, later...I cancel that thought, since I thought, "Ahhh....who would care to read this report, anyway....". But since we're on the topic now....why not? When I was in Japan, there is was this amazing bootleg calender of SMAP that people were selling, each page was devoted to a certain member from a certain era, even MORI had a page! Goro had Su-time, Tsuyoshi had MIJ time, Nakai had SAMPLE, Kimura had Sexy Six and I think Shingo got images from the 002 album, it was SO AWESOME and only costed 15.00 USD, but DID I GET IT? NO! At the time I was bringing back with me over 70 SMAP posters, 15 SMAP uchiwa's, all the pop!up tour merch, all the misc. JE stuff I bought, like 15 Arashi posters and handfuls of news stuff and just.. I can't believe I turned it down. I know I will never see it again.
