That picture came from a gossip magazine, but it was taken when Nakai went to beach during his private time I think... Then the residents over there saw him and want to take photo with Nakai, so Nakai took the picture with them. But then the photo was exposed to certain gossip magazine and they accused Nakai having connection with gangster(the people in that photo).... I think this incident stirred quite a problem and Johnny's agency decided to sue the magazine. If I'm not mistaken..... But magazine also badmouth Nakai for not realizing his position as professional entertainer and simply take photo with gangster... :grumble:

I think this incident was discussed in la creme forum before, you can check there fro more info, in news about Nakai thread, first few pages.

furthermore.. if nakai refuses to take photo with the grp of gangsters, the media is probably gonna accuse him of putting on airs. =X

Haha, most of the Asian smappies do a lot of writing between 1:00am and 7:00am PT.

It's funny, in the US-fandom, SMAP isn't so popular, most of the english speaking SMAP fans aren't even from the US, but from South East Asia and stuff, but it's groups like Morning Musume, Ayumi, Utada that are HUGE in US fandom, but in Japan, I saw almost NO Hello!Project/MM, I think I saw by random a poster of MM in Lawson's, and it was BoA that was the huge big popular talent in Japan, she was everywhere, but SMAP. OH MAnAN! they are everywere! billboards, magazines, tv, EVERYWHERE. It was soo surreal and I saw tons of people talking about SMAP or just stopping to see SMAP on tvs, SMAP was really a big part of Japan.

I got alot for cheap too, since a nice girl I know on livejournal was moving on from Johnny's and SMAP, so she sold me a ton and tsuyoshi was her favorite member so I have so many promo's of tsuyoshi. I'm so happy for the Chonan Kan stuff! I wanted to know, you are a big tsuyo fan, how did you feel about his Chonan Kan alter ego and do you think he will go back to it and release more music?

No, not much Shingo. Shingo is my least favorite member, I don't even have his pop!up poster hanged up, it's in the top of my book case! I'm such a baaaaaaaaaaaaad SMAP fan, but if it means another Goro poster can go up, I can cut back on the shingo.
