There was a double-episode special of "Furuhata Ninzaburo" (3rd season, sometime in early 90's) featuring SMAP. I've ripped the DVD and uploaded it for those who are interested. Here is the first half:

In order to fit the file into 300MB maximum dictated by Sendspace I have to make some sacrifices in terms of quality, sorry. The second half will be uploaded today and I'll post a link as soon as it's done.

kimura had a sort of sinusitis and his eye got infected so that's why he wore an eyepatch. t hat's also why he wore sunglasses on utaban. he's all better now though

Shingo is i the CANNES on the 19th, he was there to support his new movie [Saiyuuki Special].

He dun need any translator, he just tried his very best to speak in English and some French. Whenever he forgot his lines, he just breath hard. Haha, so funny...

Before he go, Kimura ask him to enjoy and bring him stuffs from there. But he keep saying its hot there...

He also hope that Saiyuuki can take part in next year's CANNES. Ha, I hope that he can take a price also. :P :)

oh did you see like an interview or newsclip with shingo in cannes? i wanna see it ! shingo's very brave to not use a translator

Oh, so that was it... I thought he got an operation to correct his eye sight, since they were talking about glasses and showed him with glasses in '93.

Eye infections ain't fun. I'm glad to hear he's doing better.

yeah his infection had cleared up by the time smap appeared on music station to perform dear woman.

I've seen this, without any subs! And I love it! :woot: The bond among them is so sweet & so strong, how they go to that length to protect Tsuyoshi. And the ending, it just breaks my heart! :shamefulcry:
