Yanie!!! Interesting post there. These are my answers!!!

1. WHY? Why did Kimura had to say that he still cannot forget Kaorin, but then in 4 months, he's already dating another woman?

Because Kudo practiced voodoo on him. No, seriously because love has no reasons. It may be hard to think this way, but maybe Kudo is really that special.....

2. WHY did he tell Kaorin that he couldn't marry her, because of his job as an idol... But he married Kudo, anyway?? What is it that Kaorin doesn't has, that Kudo has? What makes Kimura refuse to marry Kaorin, but he could marry Kudo? What makes Kaorin different than Kudo?!!

Kaorin doesn't understand the celebrity world like Kudo does. Kudo used to date Yoshiki......... X JAPAN GOSHHHHHHHHHH. That may be cooler than dating Kimura. :beaten: She should be such am expert at this celebrity dating thing.

Kaorin had incredible patience to wait for 9 years, without knowing whether the relationship going somewhere or not, coz she MUST have faith in Kimura.... And she didn't like to attract attention when she's dating Kimura....but Kimura had shoot stardom and became a super idol since what...1994?? It means, Kaorin had really being patient for 5 years, even though she took alot of pressure. What more did he want??!

This, I agree with you. Poor Kaorin. This is really not Kudo's fault actually.... but really...... what Kaorin must have felt is probably something beyond hurt.

Some of the press speculation, Kudo dated Kimura to get her popularity back in the entertainment world. The reporters asked her, "What do you see in Kimura?(Why do you love him?)". According to the reporter who wrote the article, with a straight face she answered, "His everything,". The reporter said, with that kind of expression, she can actually talk about her accountant or manager.
Kimura was also once asked why does he love Kudo. According to an article, Kimura answered, "Because she love surfing too, and her cook is amazing,"

But I vividly remember during his marriage press conference, a reporter asked him what is it about Kudo that attracted him to her, he said "Her everything"

Anyway, don't you think this kind of question is quite awkward to answer in the first place :sweat:
And how often can you find an avid female surfer and a great cook... who used to be a mega superstar.... and is an older woman :P :beaten:

Okay, now I sound like a crazed Kudo fan, but I'm think I'm just more of overly protective of Kimura, his decisions and his life. Of course, most of what I have said, besides the facts, are my mere opinions!!

He was so nervous when she was gonna kiss him in Bistro!^^ I like her, despite her age, she is so childish, playful and cheerful. But most Smappies dislike her because her role in Concerto with Kimura, I think :hehe:

Never heard of Nakai and Goro's favorite female artistes. Kimura...well, used to be her own wife :mrgreen: Oh, and according to Vanessa though, Nakai used to idolize Kudo Shizuka too! Thus, she writes alot of Nakai-Kudo-Kimura love triangle fanfics :beaten:

Goro's favorite female artiste...hmm, Miho?? Haha...I read a report of Stop The Smap before where he praises Kanno Miho as a wonderful female idol, back before they start dating in October 1998^^

As for Shingo...besides Iijima Naoko, he was also a fan of Yuuka and Anzai Hiroko. Must because of their gravure poses....since they were gravure idols :hehe: He mentioned that he likes Yuuka and Anzai Hiroko over and over in Utaban. In Bistro, when Yuuka guests, it was also quite obvious that he liked Yuuka alot!^^

But then, Yuuka become an actress too in dramas....and Shingo must be very happy when he got casted to act in Love Story, and paired up with Yuuka!! Haha! He got to kiss her too!! x) I love Yuuka very much!!! She looks really compatible with Shingo, I think! I made a Shingo-Yuuka fanvid before...heehee... One thing how Yuuka resembles A-san....they're both petite girls!! Yuuka is petite, but has big chest....haha, I wonder if A-san has big chest too :hehe:


They're such a lovely pair! I hope they'll act together again someday!

Did Shingo explicitly say he did not like Takako Uehara? One thing's for sure, he didn't exchange numbers with any of them :rofl: I watched a bit of that drama with him and Uehara, it seemed really touching. Although I only watched it here and there, I remember crying when she died.

I think Kaorin understand the celebrity world enough. She was a model herself. And she DID try to accept everything in those 5 years ever since Kimura shot stardom. And despite all the pressure for being a super-idol's girlfriend, she was STILL planning to marry Kimura, planning to accept and going through the hard times she know she'll has to face if she marry him.

But, it was Kimura, who thought he cannot give her happiness, and indirectly reject her, desho?

For KimuraMatsu, I would write off Shizuka Kudo in a nanosecond. Without a doubt. I just watched Episode 4 of LG AGAIN. Ah I am mad about the scene with the electronic board.

Was she a celebrity though? She was only famous for being Takuya's girlfriend right. I know a lot of people just think of Kudo Shizuka as being Takuya's wife but she was super famous in the 80s and 90s, long before SMAP debuted.

Honestly, besides all that you have mentioned about Kaorin and how she looks like, I know nuts about Kaorin. What kind of model was she? Did she act a bit too? The A-list model sort or just a commercial/print ad sort?

American pop culture is well known in Japan. Haha, when they were younger they all admired American celebs. Tsuyoshi liked Brooke Shields after he saw her in The Blue Lagoon. Hmmm, back then Takuya was a fan of Matt Dillon and Goro was a fan of River Phoenix and of course Clint Eastwood, Shingo = Michael Jackson. But Nakai liked Charlie Chaplin. That was pretty surprising that a teenager in the 1980s would like a British silent film comedic legend, :hehe:

Oh, no, no.... Its just he didn't mention much about her, unlike how Shingo mention Iijima Naoko and Yuuka. In Utaban, Nakai asked Shingo if he meet Naoko and Yuuka on the street, but then they walk down different path...whose path he'd choose?? Naoko or Yuuka??

Shingo gave a HARD thought of it, "Errrmmmm.........!!!!". I was screaming in JOY when he said, "I'm so sorry....it's gotta be YUUKA for now!!!".
Haha...but the reason was because Naoko just got married that time. He's afraid of her husband xD Though she had divorce again already....she's a widower now^^

Matt Dillon... I LOVE HIM. Okay respect for Kimura goes up. Nakai has facial expression like Charlie Chaplin sometimes though, I think! Gosh Nakai's facial expressions are so cute!!! Nakai likes Michael Jackson too and Shingo likes Justin Timberlake.

The only time i strayed away from these two guys is Nobuta Wo Produce and My Boss My Hero. That's why I don't recognise a lot of actors/actresses names.

You know the electronic board where Riko declared her love for Teppei, but he was late.... till the part where they had their first kiss :love2: I am mad about it as in I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THAT SCENE. :good: That and the other scene where they broke up at Riko's door, on the day before she left Tokyo. That was heartbreaking. :puppydog:

I think I really am one of the biggest LG fan around. A pity I don't know how to make sites and such.

And some other Smappies even said mean things to Miho, abuse her verbally too.

It's just basically back to our own opinions and what we want to believe. You don't have to think about it too much...okay? :patpat: Even if those anti-Kudo explain to you paragraph-by-paragraph why they hate Kudo. You won't understand anyway....believe me!

Haha....not that I don't support Kudo.... But just always feels that something's not right with their marriage history. That's all... Well, it may lead to some effects in disliking her.... But I DO see few good things in her, too. And she was okay in Hey3x, frankly...I enjoyed that show with her as guest. But it didn't change on how I feel about the marriage history, sorry.... :sweat:

Anyway...you better not raise this topic anymore, like "Why Smappies doesn't support Shizuka". I'm sure Simone is already pretty tired with this topic already xD
