CHICAGO (Reuters) - Wal-Mart Stores Inc. (NYSE:WMT - news) will start selling build-your-own-computer components in more than one-third of its U.S. discount stores this month as it looks for ways to tempt shoppers to buy more than just low-margin food. I can just imagine what kind of "high-tech" pc's these will be! :beaten: [/list:u]

I got my new PC up and running. It's nice to have a quiet PC. The other one was still ok for what I was doing with it, but I couldn't sleep next to this thing. :bleh:
Athlon 64 X2 4200+ with 2GB of Ram. Almost all Asus parts. They only had a 200GB sata hard drive in stock, so I had to buy this. Anyway, I still have 3 IDE and 3 sata slots free. Also have 4 sata raid. I'm tempted to add 4 500GB harddrives. :angeldevil:

*drool*
It's cheaper than it used to. I think I paid something like $225 for a 2GB kit (2x 1024mb). You can get 512mb for around $60.
With the browser open and a few backgroud apps like antivirus I have 410mb used. It's overkill if you don't play games or apps that needs tons of memory. I was sick of my previous goat.
