An even better deal if the discs work out for you. :beaten:

Can someone tell me how to get Microsoft Word to print something sideways on a piece of paper? The thing I want to print out can only fit by printing it out that way instead of the regular up and down way. (Wow, I hope that made sense because it sounded weird to me)

ETA: Ah never mind. I finally found a site that explained it well. Just in case anyone else needs it:

Rotate your page sideways by clicking the File menu and then Page Setup. On the Paper Size tab, select Landscape, and then click OK.

Under the menus, try FILE->Page Setup->Paper Size
There'll be an "orientation" option and you can pick "landscape" for printing sideways.

Thanks! I found it out about the same time that you posted it. I shall put that in my notes for future reference. :)

You lay your printer on its side, then Print. :beaten:

Haha, is that the method that you use, beemie? Or maybe you tilt your head sideways as well? :hehe: :beaten:

I'd prefer that over the head tilt: don't wanna pull a muscle in my neck. :P

I prefer the "squint eye" method, myself. :hehe:

Was that Microsoft's suggestion? :hehe:

^ Nice price.

Have to say that changing over to the LCD monitor was the best thing I did this year: the image is solid, stable, and looks pretty damn good. :victory:

Yikes, my main home PC BSOD'd when I was trying to upload a pic on Facebook...

Now it's become unstable: on occasion, it'll go into this continuous boot mode from POST to "Boot Normally?" then back to POST...

Looks like it's my signal to do a fresh WinXP install. :puppydog: :puppydog: :puppydog:

Yup.

Still trying to determine the problem... And to recover from it.

Ouch, that's serious. XP doesn't usually BSOD for nothing (unlike Win 98 :P )

Nope.

Tried to do a repair from the WinXP CD, but no go.

I think I might have some kind of hardware failure: I'm even having trouble installing a new copy of XP on a new HD....

Uh oh.
