I quite like Nino's brutal frankness, mean streak and evil practical jokes. Very refreshing. I know most don't agree when he play those jokes but we get to see a different side to him than just being the quiet, bashful one.

As for fingers... hmmm... I have to pay more attention to it. The only time I do notice his fingers is when Nino flashes the "“ñƒm—’"-peace sign. And that smile of his.

YAY!

Actually, this is from "Stand Up! Hawaii" (2002, I believe). Arashi boys seem to like Hawaii a lot! Anyway, it is nighttime at the hotel where they stay at in different rooms. The cameraman comes into Jun's room first and wakes him up. You must watch his confused facial expressions as he squints into the light, HAHA! PRICELESS! And he says "HUH?!" and "HEH?!" because someone is waking him up in the middle of the night, poor Jun!

If you like this clip, just post to see the rest. Becuase after he is successfully awake, he goes to wake up Nino, then they wake up Aiba, then Sho, and finally Ohno. i dun think it's up to jun to decide who to dance with.
i believe that nothing from his clothes to his choreography has anything to do with him. it's his producers and johnny's firm that makes all the decisions.
do you know that japanese singers/actors are very different from any around the world? they are hired into an entertainment company eg. johnny's and they are paid wages like normal white collared workers.
if you think our arashi boys are rich from all the con perfs, cms, endorsements, merchandising, then it's so way off. all the profits are for johnny's and the boys are just given wages.
of course i'm not saying that they aren't paid well, but normally, in other countries, the artist will get a big amount of profit, and will give a percentage to their manager. but in japan, it's the other way around. they are probably given bonuses if they do endorsements. and like for doramas, the firm will decide who to appear on which dorama, etc...
they are given different levels of pay amount depending on their popularity. in return, the firm works really hard to market the boys into the limelight and would protect them fiercely against all scandals.

Yes, yes, I was just going to say that. Actually, it is like they (your company) are doing you a big favour for getting you famous, therefore, you are not paid a lot at all! If you are a Junior, you do it for the fun and experience, not for the money.

...eh..that sounds really negativ to me ... :shamefulcry: poor guys, but i somehow knew that johnny's boys don't live an easy life!! With all the restictions they have to live with (girls, ect..)

I guess it's a priviledge to them. It is a job after all and if they have fun while doing it, that's good. You get a fixed pay with bonuses and promotions like any other jobs. Though I don't quite agree on depending on popularity's sake.

ya, i always thought it was unfair for those boys. but if the whole of japan is like this, then i guess they are used to it. and i guess most japanese people work for one company all their life, so they are probably assured of a job at johnny's untill they retire or get fired for something... and i believe their pay should be pretty high coz they're pretty popular ne...

well, the job can't be too bad when so many ppl want to become Johnny's jr's and parents know that their kids await hardship in this industry, I don't think that they would force their kids to do something they don't want for only a small amount of money...and jun and nino wanted to become Jr.'s out of their own free will ne~? I don't know the Japanese law system (jaja mary ich weiss, scho wieder die juristin *g*), but in Europe kids under 16/18 aren't allowed to sign any contract without the approval of their guardian(s), should be the same over there.
